Billups avenges Pistons

Summary: The Pistons(21-3) looked nothing like the Pistons that lost to the Warriors in overtime(118-117). But, those Pistons didn't have Chauncey Billups(out with sprained wrist at the time) or Kevin Garnett(still in Minnesota). The Warriors(18-9) made the win over Detroit look like a fluke. Head coach Flip Saunders is 7-0 since returning after his suspension(Fun fact: Interim coach went 8-2 during the suspension. He went back down to coach the Developmental League's Fayetteville Patriots).

Pistons stats: Chauncey Billups had a field day against the Warriors, tallying 47 points and 12 swipes. Rip Hamilton score 19, and Rasheed Wallace complemented with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Warriors stats: Baron Davis led Golden State with 25 points, and Derek Fisher added 16. Mickael Pietrus added 10 points, and Troy Murphy and Andris Biedrins added 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively. Again, Jason Richardson was held to just 12 points(He was held to 12 on December 9). Mike Dunleavy was also held to just 7 points.

EDIT: Yeah, I got myself into a pickle with those trades. Now I need a backup C and I can't get one, and with Prince down, I have to use Trenton Hassell as my starter and a SG(Ronald Dupree) as my backup.

Pistons get revenge on Spurs


Summary: Detroit led all day, gathering up a 17-point lead heading into the 4th quarter, but San Antonio rallied back, and took their first lead of the game in the 4th with 1.9 seconds left. However, Chauncey Billups hit a game-tying jumper at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

In overtime, again, the Pistons got a 7-point lead, but it vanished to one point with 5 seconds left. Billups headed to the free throw line with 3 seconds left, and made one of two, missing the second one, but Antonio McDyess got the rebound, and he was fouled with 1.2 seconds left. He, like Billups, also missed the second one, and the Spurs(18-9) didn't have time to get a shot off, as the Pistons(22-3) are one win away from tying the mark set by the 96-97 Chicago Bulls, who started the season 23-3.

Pistons stats: Chauncey Billups led the Pistons with 29 points. Four other Pistons scored in double figures(Lindsey Hunter 23, Raheed Wallace, 20, Trenton Hassell, 16, and Kevin Garnett, 10). Antonio McDyess toyed with a double-double with 9 points and 9 rebounds, and Billups also had 8 assists.

Spurs stats: Six Spurs scored in double figures against Detroit. They were Tony Parker(30), Brent Barry(16), Manu Ginobli(15), Bruce Bowen(15), Robert Horry(13), and Beno Udrih(12). Tim Duncan was held to only 8 points, but grabbed 11 rebounds, and Nazr Mohammed added 9 rebounds.

Pistons come ALL the way back to win



Summary: The Pistons(23-3) needed a miracle to win, down by 24 in the 3rd quarter, and they got it, from who else but Mr. Big Shot? Once again, it was Billups' heroics that brought the Pistons back in this one.

After they were down by 24, they pulled to within 10 at the end of the third. Then, in the 4th, they pulled to within 4, and that's when Billups caught fire. After Toronto(5-22) made 2 free throws to make it a 4-point game, Billups came down the floor and buried a three with 15 seconds left. Then the Pistons quickly fouled, and then Morris Peterson made two more free throws to make it a 3-point game. Then, Billups, again, came down the floor and tickled the twine from beyond the arc, tying the game at 101. Then Billups got a quick steal, and made an easy layup with 3.5 seconds left. Toronto called a timeout to get the ball farther up the floor, and Charlie Villanueva made a layup at the buzzer, but the ball was released just a fracton of a second too late.

Pistons stats: Not a lot of individual points in this team win...Kevin Garnett led the Pistons with 26 points, and Chauncey Billups toyed with a triple double, with 23 points, 9 assists, and 8 steals. Rip Hamilton added 14 points.

Raptors stats: Rafer Alston led all scorers with 30 points, and Charlie Villanueva had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Jalen Rose scored 17, and Alvin Williams added 14. The Pistons have did a good job holding stars in check, this time holding Morris Peterson to 11 points.

New presentation and stuff(Still won't be able to get pics). But I don't want everyone to get pissed at me for starting a new dynasty. Any suggestions?

Yeah fantasy drafts are quite interesting, but can get boring quickly too, you shouldnt worry what other people think if you want to start a new one, you should play the dyansty for your enjoyment
