Clippers v. Nuggets

Postby Axel on Tue Apr 25, 2006 1:06 pm

Nobody is making much of a deal out of this series... but to me, it's probably the best series right now. LA is looking really good early on, and I'm picking them to win the series, and go on to beat the Phoenix Suns in the second round (i just dont think they can handle Elton Brand).

What do you guys think of the series? Predictions?

Clippers in 5 is my prediction. They are a smarter team, more experienced and way hungrier than the nuggets.

Oooo thats a tuff one...... Clippers in 4??

Judging by how "good" Denver is playing on the boards and not seeing their usual fast break, they'll lose to clipps in 4

I've got the Clippers winning this one 4-2. Denver will steal some games but everyone wants the Clippers to succeed 8-)

Yea they will. Look at this game right now. they do nothing that they do regularly. If they don't do simple things like fast break, steals, points in the paint - they'll lose at home, too!

Its funny how quick people jump to say its a series sweep. Anything can happen in the next couple days, comebacks are possible.

Exactly. Especially when there are two teams tha tare very well matched. I see the Nuggets taking this game to 6, but Clippers are taking the series.

Agreed. I was more confused as to why Kirilenko was involved anywhere?

The nugz could surely use voshon lenard right now. He can make those double-teaming clips pay by shooting the lights out. Can anyone tell me why he got traded?

I believe he just fell out of favour with George Karl and wanted more playing time, so he was sent packing.

Kirilenko is giving Crymelo a wedgie because... do I really have to explain. Its kinda a rivalry thing. In the other pic AK is in the window just cuz its stupid funny. People at the jazz board thought it was funny. Face it you guys have no sense of humor.
