Top 5 Players With Brightest Futures

Mon Apr 24, 2006 1:38 am

Say who are the top 5 players with the brightest futures. I don't want to see Pierce, Kobe, Iverson, Vince ,Tracy..etc because there in there prime now. Say who and why. Heres my take on it

Image

1.Lebron James. This kid is only 21 years old and is already 31+ Points per game.! That is simply amazing. What's hard to think is that this kid is only going to get better! His scoring went from 20.9 to 27.2 to 31.4. You have to wonder if his going to average 35+ like Kobe did this season next year.He already has the body that Kobe and MJ didn't have when they were this young in the NBA. He can do it ALL. Score, Rebound, Pass, Defend...etc. I think he can end of G.O.A.T

Image

2.Dwight Howard. This kid is also a BEAST. He has the body that can blow you away. A true rebounder. In his second season in the NBA is only .2 rebounds away from getting the lead of rebouinds per game. But he is the leader of total rebounds! He now has a partner to go with him. His name is Jameer Nelson. His scorig has goone up by 3 points. The Orlando Magic , Dwight and Jameer have a VERY bright future

Image

3.Dwayne Wade. Has led the Miami Heat into the playoffs. Sure he has Shaq but Shaq hasn't been himslef this year. He is on verge of not scoring 20+ points per game in a season for the first time in his career. Wade ha shown that ha can hit big shots and and do all the other things. Pass, Rebound, Score..etc. And also let's not forget thoes miracle shots he hits. Lebron and him are going to be the superstars of the future!

Image

4.Amare StoudemireEven though he had the surgery and might never be the same again, he is a Beast. He averaged 38 points per game in the playoffs against Tim Duncan. Steve Nash has helped him out a lot. But before Nash was there he was the one that got Rookie of the Year instead of Yao. If he develops a jumper he is going to be very scary in the future

Image

5.Carmelo Anthony. Like Wade has shown that he can hit the big shots. Meaning he is one of theclutch players in the league. If you had to choose one player to shoot a last secoond shot you would probably choose Kobe but you would have thought of armelo somewhere in there. He has shown that he can lead a team into the playoffs. In his first year hegot the Nuggets from a 17-65 record to being in the playoffs! He is a true scorer and a true leader and is going to be scary in the future.

Honerable Mentions:Chris Paul, Chris Bosh, Ben Gordon, Yao Ming( The way he was playing late you have to give him credit

Mon Apr 24, 2006 2:14 am

1. LeBron
2. Carmello
3. Wade (esp. if he can start hitting 3's)
4. Dwight Howard
5. Yao (if injury doesnt stop him)

Should have made a poll stating "Other than Lebron, which young player has the brightest puture?"

What standard are we setting for young btw?

Wow I cant believe I forgot to mention him since he actually is my favourite rookie. In time people will start recognizing this guy's talent.

Wilcox??? WHO?

Okafor, depends on how his injuries are next season.

Chris Paul is one of the best point guards in the league. He comes close to triple doubles all the time. Future Jason Kidd.

oh my god, is that a joke. the fact that you say LeBron doesn't play D is disrespectful to the leauge, I'd like you to remind me how many steals a game the guy gets. I'm sure he's near the top.

My List:
1:LeBron James
2:Dwight Howard
3:Dwyane Wade
4:Chris Paul
5:Chris Bosh

Mon Apr 24, 2006 1:30 pm

Mon Apr 24, 2006 1:31 pm

Getting steals doesn't mean you are a good at defence. Not saying LeBron sucks at defence, I don't really have a view on it, but just saying.

i know it doesn't, but i was just saying that he does get quite a few steals and that is a defensive stat last time i checked. But when you watch the guy play he is a good defender. There is no denying that.

1. Nate Robinson
2. Chris Paul
3. Gerald Green
4. Raymond Felton
5. Channing Frye

According to a lot of people... there is.

Mon Apr 24, 2006 4:31 pm

Lebron (greatest of all time)
Wade (reminds me of jordan)
Dwight Howard (i see him getting like 25/15 avg)
Bosh (KG with less def, more scoring/clutch)
Paul (Jkidd with less def/rebounds but more scoring)
Yao (i dunno how old he is, but if he can keep doing 27/12, hes comparable to david robinson, patrick ewing)
