I'm not in the position to see the game live, but I just read the halftime score is 73-39.. in a playoff game!

41-15 score in the 2nd quarter. Guess all those who said the Kings might actually have a chance to beat the Spurs were pretty much wrong.

it's just 1 game....Kings will come out with intensity in the upcoming games....don't forget

Orlando 3 - Detroit 1....Detroit wins
Dallas 3 - Portland 0....Portland wins next 3, Dallas clinch
Houston 2 - Dallas 0....Dallas win in 7

and the Finals last year....SAS abused Detroit but on the road they themselves got abused.

1 game, no matter how convincing the win, does not decide the series.

True, one game doesn't usually decide the series and stranger things have happened, but in those first three examples the winners were considered the superior team and were expected to win the series. It just turned out to be more difficult than initially predicted.

It's a similar situation to Marbury's "I'm the best point guard" comment followed by the Knicks' slide last year. With Artest's prediction being so bold, the Spurs' blowout victory does invite a reaction of "You were saying?", even if it was only one game. Artest's boasting did suggest knocking off the Spurs would be easier than most people expect and Game 1 served as a reminder that it's not going to be all that easy for the Kings to upset San Antonio and emerge as the #1 team at the end of the Playoffs.
