No wonder they want out of there. Portland sucks. And giving up large amounts of cap to selfish/no-defense players like Randolph doesn't help. This offseason, if they can sign a decent no-nonense/winning-mentality vet with their MLE, get #1 or #2 pick, and get rid of Randolph... they'll get closer to getting back on track.

they'll try & resign Przy-bizz for their MLE, which if he's healthy & improves gradually, is a solid signing....

they need to trade Miles....hold out on Randolph at the moment, unless they can dump his salary....maybe they should dump his salary....

I know this kind of goes against what I said in the other thread about Chris Bosh being committed despite the losing record, it's necessarily a bad thing that they are disappointed with all the losses. No one likes losing so much no matter the level of competition or even the sport for that matter. It suggests they give a damn about what's going on and not just about collecting their paycheques and getting stats so it's not all bad.

But their dislike of discipline is a perfect example of the spoiled, pampered, "say what I want, do whatever I want" athlete that there's just too many of in today's league. Those are two young players that still have potential and should be capable of doing some good things in the NBA. But this latest fiasco really does show how poor their attitudes are, and that they lack the mentality to keep raising their game and taking their team places as well.
