BLAZERS MONTHLY RECAP - FEBRUARY 2007

Coming off a winning month in January & moving to 8-10, the Portland Trailblazers looked to build on it in February. Aside from the strong All-Star Weekend performances, it was a pretty mediocre month for the Blazers as they dropped 3 out of 4 games for the month to drop to 9-13 overall. It could have been worse as the Blazers came back from 11pts down in the last 3 minutes of their game against the Heat to get a much needed W & stop the bleeding.

March will be a huge month for the Blazers as they will have their work cut out for them to make the playoffs, but they are still in the hunt & anything is possible.

first time this season that my prediction was wrong

nobody expected u to defeat the Heat

but u lost on all other meeings this month..... (N)

as for my win over Heat, that was a huge one....I was up by 4pts at start of 4th quarter, down by 11pts with 3mins to go & then up by 2pts with 90secs to go....unbelievable comeback

and yep, I know I need to win more, 2 of those losses were in simmed games, so really I was 1-1 in games I actually played a portion of....

funnily enough, my final 7 games are in March....I don't have any games in April, so you will be right with your analysis there :wink:

even if I win & get within a game or so of .500 then it will be a tense wait-and-see game for me

I've been playing a Blazers dynasty on the Gamecube and I'm really enjoying it. Though I haven't made any trades beyond what their roster is now (now that I'm going to Blazers games all the time it's kind of cool to play as the same team I go watch).

I like what you've done here, even though seeing Juan/Steve Blake/Viktor, etc gone is sad... it's still a good read.
