Flying school's actually pretty easy with keyboard/mouse... I stopped playing because it forced me to take over xxxxx number of turfs before i can continue on with the storyline

I actually play on PC and I still don't like the flying school. why didn't they just make it as an extra or something?

I suppose they want the missions to always be progressively difficult. I usually find I have to take a break from the game for a while when I run into those kind of "roadblock" missions.

Free downloads. Sweet. Never played GTA2 before.

I've played all the GTA's except for London and LS. I remember playing GTA 1 with all my friends from school in class

i have just downloaded GTA1 but i think GTA2 is way better

I had a lot of fun back in high school in IT and software design class playing GTA2 over the network but as a single player game, I didn't enjoy it as much as the original or the generation that has followed it.
Mon Apr 10, 2006 5:20 pm
i havent played London either, can you download it from the downloads page somewhere?
Mon Apr 10, 2006 5:32 pm
Doesn't look like that one's available for free from Rockstar just yet.
Mon Apr 10, 2006 6:07 pm
it had better be soon
Mon Apr 10, 2006 6:27 pm
I'm not sure if they even will. Seems to me they would've done that between the original and GTA2.
Mon Apr 10, 2006 6:33 pm
thats true, but it was an add on the the original GTA or something wasnt it
Mon Apr 10, 2006 7:09 pm
Sort of. It was kind of released as "GTA1.5".

Hm, random GTA Thoughts.
On GTA Vice City, I sucked at those RC things, but now on GTA SA, I was doing Zero's missions and I managed to pass them all. That little plane was hard to control at first, took me 4 goes to pass it but it was fun. And the last mission took me the 2nd go to do it. Awesome stuff.
On the ps2 though, I didnt do any of the Zero missions and I got up to flight school and then returned the game to my friend
Vice City was a cool game too. I liked the asset missions, the one where you bought the property and had to do missions for it, that was quite cool.

Yeah that was a cool idea, good compensation for a short main storyline.
Mon Apr 10, 2006 8:37 pm
man, i still havent passed zeros missions, on ps2 or pc and ive had the game since it came out on each platform

Beat it in 2 days... really short compared to the other gta's, and wasn't as great imo since it was basically GTA3 with a different storyline... If it was a new city it'd be more cool, but I recommend it.

ok thanks it'd be pretty hard jamming GTA's famous depth into a hand-held version, so i give em that
Wed Apr 12, 2006 3:59 pm
is it going to be any good on PS2?
Wed Apr 12, 2006 4:06 pm
If it's a condensed version, I don't think I'll be inclined to get it.
Wed Apr 12, 2006 4:42 pm
i dont think i will either actually

Vice City was great, the graphics were cool and I loved the Scarface theme, althought I never finished the story due to a unfortunate game crash (argh) and the flying/rc missions SUCKED!
on gtasa:
zero's missions on ps2 are pain in the ass but on pc theyre not that hard. the flying part in the beginning was horrible but as flying became easier and not so strict it started to be quite fun.
GTA sa was and still is the best game ever and my favourite ever. the best part of the game is the beginning when you are stuck in the hood but the story get's a bit boring in the countryside. Las Venturas is great though. the only thing I have to complain is the end of the story, it's too lame.
and the driving/boat/motorcycle/flying schools, UGH! I still haven't got over the brain damage caused by frustration and anger.

I currently stuck on GTASA. I'm anxious to take over that rapper's house, with its swimming pools, gym and basketball court.
Thu Apr 13, 2006 1:45 am
you mean you're stuck in Madd Dogg's mission? do you have the pc or ps2 version?
the only mission I was REALLY stuck was freefall, it was pretty tricky to fly the plane above the other, but when I passed that the rest of the storyline wasn't that difficult, except for the final mission brrrr
Thu Apr 13, 2006 10:55 am
Actually I'm stuck before that, just looking forward to being able to take over his house.

I've got the PS2 version.
