DaTruth36, the truth is that you are g-word (you know what I mean, just don't feel like it's really necessarly to say gay since you aren't actually...or are you?) but yeah. The truth is that no feel like oyu can say anything and you would do anything to get peopel to agree with you when you say the Celts are "amazing" or "the best" or just whatever like that.

DaTruth you're an idiot, flat out. I've told you so many times I don't like you, yet you ask me again? You make these completely ridiculous statements and then act shocked when people argue against you for it. I keep reading about how you're in college or whatever, and I honestly have no idea how you've become so blindly ignorant of everything around you at your age. Of course you'll forget I've posted this and just ask me the same question in three days time, but still.

There you have it. You don't like me. You intentionally talk shit to me, JUST to piss me off, when I do nothing to you, but you're so ignorant and you can't lay off me just a little bit. I'm starting to laugh at what poor judgements you make.

Of course I don't like you, but how is it talking shit? You spit out the most retarded posts and you're susprised other people bag you for it? Moron. I do nothing "JUST" to piss you off, I could care less about whether you're pissed off. It's not my fault you make more dumbass posts than anyone else here. Why would I lay off you? You keep making posts like this:

If people are allowed to do this to me, I made as well do it now.

This is a retarted thread, Billups is definetly not MVP. He MIGHT be top 20 at best.

Now fuck off before I ban you, you're starting to annoy me.

You're right. I completely apologize, I regret my comments and they were inappropriate. You're a new guy, it takes time to settle in here and for people to get used to your personality. Your loyalty to the Celtics is admirable and I really appreciate your NBA knowledge, I don't get to see as many games as you so it was stupid of me to try and challenge your opinions. You've made fantastic contributions to the forums in every aspect and in retrospect we are lucky to have you around. So once again I apologize in full and I hope we can move on from this and continue to make the NLSC the great forum that is is today (Y)

I guess we've all learned a lesson here....learn when it to give shit up and move on. Especially when you were a raving fanb0y who pissed the whole forum off and no one likes...don't go mouthing off to a mod. Well, being that shaun and datruth were the only ones who fell into that class..it's a lesson learnt too late. :?

I've been tempted to ban that dude a long time...but i'm a little more forgiving i guess.

Mean while...celtics loose to the knicks...the knicks of all people. Ofcourse gerlad green had a nice dunk..that's what he's good for.

He played quite a bit this game, almost 35 minutes I believe. What's with his headband?

If put his athleticism aside, he doesn't actually show a lot of NBA ready skills. His D is weak (but then again, that is expected from anyone who came into the League straight out of HS), he doesn't rebound, his shot is streaky, his handle could improve and he looks a bit soft out there. I was hyped about this guy when he declared for the draft, but I'm not anymore. I simply don't believe he has the mentality to become a superstar. Sure, T-Mac also didn't appear hyperactive on the court in his first seasons, but he did find a way to contribute without scoring a lot and he does have height/length advantage over Green.

Aren't they both 6'8"?

They're both listed at 6'8, yes. But Green is actually 6'6 and T-Mac is around Lebron's height, so 6'7. And T-Mac so much longer that it isn't even funny.

His headband is to absorb sweat that is in his hair? Beats me. It looks retarded

Yah, because all Green did was dunk, its not like he scored 14 points or anything. Lets also take note of his 6-9 shooting display on friday, where he went 3-4 from downtown (including two big 3s in the 4th) and scored 17 points. As for his headband, he's worn it that way his entire life. No one seems to complain about Josh Howard by the way? And it's not like tons of players wear banks to make fashion statements or anything, I mean clearly Iverson needs his sleeve and everyone needs armbands.

I don't think there's a player in the league who plays as little as Green does and gets more hate. It seems like all Atlantic division fans excluding celts fans hate him....

Green is a legit 6'8 by the way, I dont know where that 6'6 number was gotten, but it's simply wrong.

Right now, I take Green over Graham. I'm not even talking about potential, I'm talking about pure impact right now. Green's PER is 13.6, he's shown more than Graham has all season in less than 200 minutes. I REALLY dislike Graham though, I mean he seems drasticlyand I love Green evenmore, so I'm completely biased, but even from a pure statistical standpoint Green has looked better. Even on a man to man defense scale, Green has stopped his man 48.3% of the time, while Graham has only stopped his man 42.1% of the time. So much for Graham being a "lockdown" defender.

Green has proven to me two things this year, and it was the two most important things I wanted to see this year; he can score and he wants to get better. He's not an all flash guy like people seem to assume he is, he's a very good shooter. I haven't seen a pure scorer as good as Green on the Celts since they drafted Pierce. He put on 20 pounds of muscle this year, spending the entire first half of the season weight training. He's all over the court on defense, and though he may not understand the defensive schemes very well, he's been able to use his pure athleticism to play decent man to man defense. Someone earlier said he doesn't have a superstar mentality, but I have no idea what they are talking about. Everytime he touches the ball he expects to score, and he shows his emotion all the time (much to the dismay of Raptor fans). I have no doubt that Gerald will be a very good player in this league. He's got all the tools and the desire, all he needs is a bit of coaching.

Despite killing the Raptors with a mosnter jam every time he plays against them, I actually like Green. But then again, I like every highschooler because they all have so much potential and/or athleticsm.

I'm pretty sure it was a legit 6'6 in the draft combine.

I hate him, I'd happily see him fail.

Yeha, HI FIVE!!! I hate him too, and next time the Raptors face the Celts, I want to go and make a sign which makes fun of his 4-fingers.

And also, lol... he can do the west-side symbol by just moving one finger.
