Noah in the Draft Top 5 ?

I don't know about that. It might not be consistent yet, but he can definitely make shots from 16-18 feet.

There are two main reasons why he can succeed in the NBA: one, he is very athletic for a big guy. He's in great shape, he runs hard and likes to get in on fastbreaks. Two: his attitude. He barely played last year and surprised everyone by becoming the leader of the team. He's always fired up and ready to play, and the Gator fans love him for it. Watch him after he makes a big play, he's impossible not to like. Check out the game against Georgetown tonight and see what you think.

This year might be too soon though. He needs to bulk up and work on his jump shot a little more. Plus, if we get everyone back next year, we might be seeing a national title come to Gainesville

Anyway, he has said he loves college and pointed out that he doesn't need to jump to the NBA early for financial reasons. The Gator sophomores are a very tight-knit group, and I think it would take a lot for them to break up this year.

He's not top 5 & probably will never be top 5....right now he is in the 1st Round based on his play so far in the NCAA Tourney....like Xu said, I think he should stay in college & add strength....he has some nice skill sets, but he's not ready....if he can stay at least one more year, that'd be nice....let's see how he goes for the rest of the Tourney....

I'm gonna have to disagree with you X. Noah is ferocious on the boards, and is one of the best ball handlers at 6'11" I've seen in the college game. Not to mention how good of a passer he is and the fact that his basketball IQ is incredible for a 1st year starter who is a sophomore. Noah is going to be an outstanding NBA player.

If he's truly 6' 11" then i could see it, because he's got a lot of agility and is considered raw and likely to improve greatly even from where he's at now.

I don't think the lack of bulk will hurt his draft prospects. This is the year that the more mobile bigs have dominated (Gasol, Kirilenko, Camby, Bosh, Marion) and the muscle/butt-shove guys have mostly underperformed excepting Brand.

Yeah, he can't shoot jumpers. Neither can Shaq. It really amazes me how people can take something that a player can't do, and isn't part of their game and try to make it seem like a negative. Imagine a negative scouting report on a guy like Shaq.... can't shoot free throws, can't hit jump shots, can't handle the ball, so what? Its not part of his game! Noah is a great finisher inside and a fantastic ball handler especially for his size.

Noah will be a top 10 pick absolutley no question if he comes out this year.

I think his dad is rich because he won Roland Garros in the 80s and then became a celebrity and started making Reggae music.
And I used to like Noah, but he's getting a little over-emotional now. He knows ESPN and CBS will zoom in on his ugly grill everytime he dunks and celebrates like a neanderthaler (yeah google that, couldn't come up with a word really).

How is his athleticism? And it's funny that he's so skinny. My bet is that he can bulk up to about 250lbs. His father was built like a brick (a not so thick one, but brick nonethless) at 6'5 and kid obviously looks a lot like he does. Except in case that he got his genes from his mother, who was a anorexic fashion model.

With the size, skills, athleticsm and heart that Noah has i couldn't see him slipping past 7th. Big men are in demand every year, let alone big men with so many tools. Look at where Villanueva was drafted (at the time of the draft, that pick was looked at as too high for him), Frye and Bogut. GM's look at the big guys first and then look for the other stuff, they wont let Noah slide.
