Official: Nets' fall way short of Finals

Postby Fewrookies-From2kW/Love on Mon Apr 03, 2006 11:08 am

I haven't seen VC shot 27 shots in a long time.

heres the break down:

game1: 31pts (first 30+ of the season) plus, posterizing Zo 2 times!
game2: 51pts (muches career high)
game3: triple double: 29pts, 10reb, and 12asst
game4: 43pts

Ever since the Heat swept them in the playoffs, VC got mad at them.

I wish Zo was playing. Then Heat fans wouldn't be complaining that they are underman.

I'm not gonna be angry at you or anything, but you're basically the vince carter lover that I am of Paul Pierce. Don't be shocked if you're flamed.

No he's not..cause not every post he makes is about vince..unlike you. 99% of your posts contain the word "pierce". In either case...i think vince is jealous of wade..and he's always out to show up the kid. :)

Flamed? For What? For making a thread that regconizes a guy who is especially hot against a particular team? For a making a thread about a team that are not consider a contender but have been on row winning 12 straight? There is nothing bias about my thread.

nah, if he is jealous, he would attempt 27 every game. What is the point of scoring big in just one game? He is just mad at them.

Being a VC is very heartbreaking sometimes. You see a guy that can do so much, but he constantly decide to score in the 20s just for the sake of the team. Even though that is the right way to play and the Nets are winning, but as a fan, you always what your baller, in this case, 1/2 half 1/2 amazing, to live up to his name.

Lebron doesn't hog shots, but he does hog the ball. The Caves offense is 95% Bron. He dribbles, drives, passes, and scores. Which is why statistically, he excels in ever catagery. Thats the way the Cavs design their offense. I'm pretty sure the triangle offense doesn't call for Kobe to jack up them shots, but he is Kobe. The Laker's organization relies on him to make them money if not get them wins :)

True thing there if you look at it like that....but one can argue that the CAVS need lebron's ability to take total control of the offense and to crash the boards on defence.(cause he gets alot of defensive boards) Can the lakers say they need kobe/iverson to jack up all those shots?

Yes, the Laker's do need Kobe to jack up all those shots, because if not him, who else would you rather be taking all those shots?

I don't see how this says that Vince is mad at the Heat or anything. Big deal they beat them in the playoffs, so whenever he has a great game against them, it's like he's mad at them?

no, because Lamar Odom is a very skilled player capable of creating shots for other players, especially at 6'10". he's quick enough to get by most PFs in the league. plus, the triangle offense works best with passing, and with kobe dominating the ball, there's not much ball movement. oh and smush is a decent scorer as well.

One thing I notice with Lamar is that he often starts dribbling or making a move then seems to forget what he was going to do and just stands there waiting for someone to run by him so he can pass it off. Not so much lately, but it was something I pickedup on.

Back on to the topic... Vinsanity is back to his old self, he is sure giving it to the heat no matter the reason, should be a great series when both teams meet in the eastern conf. semi's which I'm very sure both will make it. Still mind boggling how he did that 360 move + and 1 this season.

assuming they both move to the 2nd round in the playoffs it should be interesting to see if VC can keep this up since they will face each other.

I lost the admiration for Odom when he choked during the playoffs when he still was with the Heat, good thing someone stepped-up and I saw great potential in that player named Wade.

If the mighty Pistons, fast-gunning Suns, Superstar-fill Heat, and the Dirky Maves can't get even CLOSE to a win against the TINY Nets, how in the blue hell can the flimsy Celts or the jelly fish 6ers gonna do it?

  Seriously yall, someone needs to wipe this stupid smile otta my face.
