Maybe the reason is that he won 2 championships in the last 3 years.

What does that have anything to do with being on the All-NBA team for this particular season?

Well nothing, but his name and his championships can get him many votes.

Tim Duncan's stats for this season : 18.8 ppg, 11.11 reb, 3.2 asists and 1.91 blocks.

Dirk Nowitzki's stats for this season: 26.3ppg, 8.8rpg, 2.7apg and 1.07bpg

Elton Brand's stats for this season: 25.3ppg, 10.0rpg, 2.7apg and 2.6bpg

Kevin Garnett's stats for this season: 21.8ppg, 12.5rpg, 4.1apg and 1.34bpg

Care to tell me how you put Duncan over any one of those three for All-NBA First team?

Garnett will probably be on the 3rd team, maybe 2nd team.

The first team should be Elton Brand.

Then I guess you've already forgotten about Lacy Banks voting for Jermaine O'Neal for MVP because he was nicer in interviews than Garnett.

Marcus Camby >>> Yao

Garnett is overrated. He's a terrible teammate and leader.

KG's been whining ever since they lost the playoffs so long ago. get over it, you god damn bum. Your team sucks. What does KG want? "I hate this place i wanna leave" "i never wanted to leave" "god damn it, i don't wanna rebuild waaaaaaah, i wanna leave" you signed the 7 year deal you piece of shit, so you stick out the seven years and shut up. If you're making 18+ mil a year, you gotta be a man. Has Lebron said he wants out? No. And he's making like 13 million less than KG. KG's becoming another spoiled brat like T-Mac or Francis. I used to like ya, KG, but my annoyance/hate is growing.

LeBron isn't whining because he wants to get paid 30mil per year by his team, cos they'll think he's happy. Which he probably is. Plus he's only 2 years pro, what kinda 3rd yearer complains about not making play-offs.

LBJ is still young, he has all the time he wanted and needed to build from a young team. look at KG, he's turning 30. he's the type of player who is quick. given his age, how many more years do you expect him to stay and keep up wif tt speed. LBJ is still growing, and he's young, damn young. at only 21 (well same as me though), y should he feel frustrated. KG can only play at good level for a few more years only and he certainly knows it, tt's keeping his frustrated.

Those were EXACTLY the same predictions I had. I just switched Dirk and Elton around.

I hate the league's fascination with Ben Wallace & Bruce Bowen. AK should be the defensive POY or Marion (who averages 2.0 spg & 1.8 bpg).

No he hasn't, he has taken responsiblity for it and he has moved on.

get over it, you god damn bum.

If Kevin Garnett is a bum, what are you?

Your team sucks. What does KG want?

He wants to be a part of something special. He puts more hours into his job then you do in yours, if you even have a job. The guy has worked his ass off since he was 13 years old and even with the millions of dollars he has locked up in his bank account he keeps fighting and keeps playing hard because of his love of the game. He's frustrated that his team is losing. Do you want him to be happy? I thought we wanted athletes who care about the game and want to win? Now we are going to crictize them when they get upset for losing?

"I hate this place i wanna leave" "i never wanted to leave"

You use quotation marks, yet Kevin Garnett never said those words. He has never said he hates Minnesota. He loves Minnesota and he wants to stay in Minnesota. He is loyal to the state and to the franchise. He loves the community and he loves the fans. He has never said he wanted out. What Kevin Garnett are you listening to?

"god damn it, i don't wanna rebuild waaaaaaah, i wanna leave"

He doesn't want to go through another rebuilding stage, so what? The city and the state doesn't want to go through another rebuilding stage. We have one of the greatest athletes of all time in his prime and the team isn't at it's peak. He's frustrated for the fans. He wants to see a better product out there. He isn't looking for the easy way out, Garnett never does that. He earns everything he has. He's telling management that he wants a better team on the floor for himself and for the city. I'm pretty damn glad he said it, too.

you signed the 7 year deal you piece of shit, so you stick out the seven years and shut up.

First thing is first, he signed a five year contract extension. Secondly, Garnett has stayed in Minnesota for 11 years and he plans on staying here for the rest of his career. So what do you mean you "stick it out"? Do you even know anything about Kevin Garnett? Did you even read the quotes that he said? For some reason, I just have this feeling that you have absoutely no idea what you are talking about. And in my opinion, you look like a damn fool.

If you're making 18+ mil a year, you gotta be a man.

He is the man and he has been the man since he was 13 years old.

Has Lebron said he wants out?

Has Kevin Garnett?

No.

Thank you.

And he's making like 13 million less than KG.

He's also on his rookie contract. And what does money have anything do with being happy?

KG's becoming another spoiled brat like T-Mac or Francis.

How is Garnett a spoiled brat? He has been one of the best citizens in the NBA for the past 11 years in the league. He donated over $1 million to the Hurricane Katrina Relief Aid. He spends a lot of time working with the community in Minnesota. He is and always has been the best professional he can be. He has never wanted out and he has never, EVER, demanded to be traded. With all of these other athletes out there complaining and asking to be traded at the first sign of trouble, Kevin Garnett is a breathe of fresh air. He went through 7 straight first round playoff exits and he didn't complain. He has lost so many friendships throughout the years because of trades, free agency and death and he hasn't complained. He missed the playoffs last year and again this year and he speaks out now because he is upset with the direction of the franchise. How does that make him spoiled? If Kevin Garnett is spoiled, then I don't know what you would call Tracy McGrady, Steve Francis, Vince Carter and all the other athletes that bitched their way out of town. I think you are getting Kevin Garnett confused with someone else. Your agrument in this post was quite childish and something I would expect from a 4th grader who is first learning how to bullshit.

I used to like ya, KG, but my annoyance/hate is growing.

Do you think he cares? You are one of the few that misunderstand him and hate him. Congratulations. I'm glad you hate a man that you know nothing about.
