Choke. I don't think he'll ever make it far. Don't think he has the mentality.

Finally get past the first stage...too bad 6 more first round elemination awaits! (I'm just a hater  )
Kids these days coming straight out of high school don't know how to win. Aka T-mac and Garnett. Kobe is exceptional, since he have Shaq for so long. Now, it is his time to prove everyone that he can win without shaq.

He's 21. That's junior in college. I think he has plenty of time to grow mentally. All we see is that man child, 6'8, 240 pound guy on the court who by far exceeded all possible expectations and now we expect him to have maturity of a 30 year old veteran? Sure, I don't think he has killer instinct of Larry Birds, Jordans or Bryants, but he said that hmself, but he is competive and he'll most certainly win, he just needs a decent team around him. And I think his current teammates are what he needs (keep in mind that he playerd without Hughes for the most of the season and even he underachieved).

it's not the time for lebron yet. he is good but this is the first time in the playoffs and he hasn't experienced that yet. he just got his first "big shot", so playing elimination against a great team for possible 7 games can be too much even for him at this stage. Lebron's time will come though, but I don't believe it's now.

If hughes plays, they have a good chance of advancing through the first round. Anyways its good to see the most hyped player making it.

Lets not get carried away...i think he will definitly pass the first round. I dont think the team as a whole has one it takes to go much further. Lebron would have to score 40+ ppg and gets 7 ast and 7rpg for that to happen.

I don't think LeBron will embarrass himself. Cleveland could well advance to the second round but that draws a matchup with Detroit in the second round. Very few things are guaranteed but I don't like their chances of upsetting the Pistons.

Remember Jordan? With him being the only true star in his team(early 90's) everyone thought they could never win a chapionship. Sure, it took him a few years but he made it. And like Jordan I belive LeBron will grow into a legend when the playoffs begin. The postseason is where the great players become really marvellous :)

Well, why do you think that Lebron hasn't got the mentality? If he isn't strong enough to take clutch shots, there are other players on the team who are. Lets say Hughes, Jones and ect. So I don't see a problem. My prediction: conference finals.

I might draw some criticism here, but I don't think the Cavs are going past the first round.

Hughes is back..contributing a couple steals but only 10 points...but they beat the sixers by 33. It starts now.

Side note..sixers are seriously giving the bulls a chance here. I wouldn't mind seeing them in the playoffs again though.

The caves are still inconsistant. Winning what, 8 in a row, then lose to the Knicks? Murry bought them back, but they couldn't stop Crawford.
