I am getting a GeForc 7900GT XXX Graphic's card?

I am looking for a new graphic's card for about 100 dollars i would prefer ATI Radeon. Currently i have an NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

The FX5200 is indeed an AGP card. Shop around before your purchase your video card, and pay strict attention to reviews and tests.

Oh lol, Hereit say's Max resolution 2048 x 1536, then it say's Flat Panel Max Resolution 1600 x 1200 so that mean's if you have a flat panel it can run in the 2048x 1536 resolution? :?:

Your monitor's limitations for resolution are the limit; basically it doesn't matter if you have a 2048 x 1536 supported vid card or a 1024 x 768, the monitor is the limit. 8-)

wow, you're aiming high, i think this is more about the price and the brand (which 1 u like best) than performance, i'd go with Radeon, dunno why... just like the brand i guess :lol:

Check the following specifications: PIXEL FILL RATE, CLOCK SPEEDS, and TRANSISTORS. These (usually) determine the performance and versatility of your card, and will give you a hand in buying your card.

Personally, being an ATi guy, I'd pick up the x800. Its cheaper, and offers a smaller, more effective heatsink+fan. :wink:

i have to agree with you i looked over the spec's for each card and i am leaning toward's buying the Radeon X800 does any body no if it will run live on max setting's smoothly? Also does anybody have any of these card's i am reffering to? :wink:

Sure it is, but you're going to have to buy a new motherboard for the PCI-e slot, a new power supply for the video card, and not to mentinon the card is 400 dollars. But sure, in that respect its better... :roll:

It's a marginal difference. But be sure to read the power supply requirements on the video card-these brand new spankin' monsters need 400w of power, min. Make sure you talk to the salesperson, or have a professional install the video card.

If you're getting all this stuff, make sure you talk to some professionals in the buisness, and if possible, get them to put this stuff together for you. Hooking up a new motherboard, and installing a fresh OS will not be cheap. And while you're at it, get Windows Vista. :wink:

Anyway, like what MetalHead said, you'll gonna need a new OS for that since you're gonna have a new processor.

Windows Vista won't be out yet 'til early 2007. Release has been delayed.

nice,hope you can get your card soon. Btw i am getting a Radeon x1600 agp on ebay.
also if you need a card, buy on ebay! I bought my last one at bestbuy, it was a radeon 9550 and i paid $130 and my x1600 will cost about $180. The original price for the x1600 is $300.
