He was looking DOWN at the rim.
His eyes were above it.

And this dude is gonna be a better dunker than vince...are you guys insane?? He even is right now.

The guy has played 86 minutes through the entire season.... I think we should judge him a little later down the road because the guy isn't even getting any minutes.

As for being a better dunker than Vince, I find that statement absolutely retarded.

Vince had some of the greatest dunks in the history of the NBA. And then you're comparing one of the most legendary dunkers to a guy thats played 86 minutes in his entire career.

I don't get whats so good about this dunk. For a top ten play of the day its quite something, but honestly, there are bound to be a ton of other highlights that are better than this.

Hmm, does his cut finger disturb Green to "glue" the ball while he's dunking :?: I zeek out when the ball is smooth or slippery...
bout Vinsanity, sorry but he's irreplaceable.

Thosse are dunk contest dunks...they're meant to be the best it can get...Gerald's dunk was in the middle of the game.

Ok, listen here.

In the small amount of minutes Gerald has played this season, he's had 3 sick dunks.

2ndly, on his right hand (his shooting/dunking hand) he's missing half a finger, which makes it even harder to palm the ball.

He's even smaller than vince is and he's only 18 or 19 years old.

That is a 10, period! like I said, sick!

how on earth was that dunk a 10? Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady did this during an allstar game, and made the backboard pass themselves, not by someone else. VC also did a similar thing when he ran a fast break with Jason Kidd, Kidd through it off the backboard and Carter finished it. Heck, I'll go a little further  do you remember when Jason Richardson was in the dunk contest? He threw the pass off the backboard by himself and finished with through the legs.

Yes, but why would anyone do that in a game? In A dunk contest and All Star game, no one makes fun of you if you miss a dunk. If you miss a CRAZY dunk in a normal game, you get your ass bood like no other.

Beeep. You're wrong. G Green is 6-8, and Vinsanity's 6-6. I agree with other points...

Yeap, missing a dunk one on one with the basket during the game is probably the most embarrassing thing that ever happens. Oh, I've forgot bout missing layup...

What I mean by small is he's younger. Vince is 28, gerald is a late teen. He's still too young for an alcoholic beverage.

Like I mentioned in my previous post, Jason Kidd and Vince Carter did the same play, and i think that one looked better. also, tracy mcgrady also pulled one during a NORMAL SEASON game, he threw it off the backboard in traffic and threw it down.

That's because McGrady LOVES to show off, and doesn't care what the end result is.

Anyone of you who want to say Green is better or will be better than VC, you might want to check this dunk from 1/2man 1/2amazing in his charity game, first!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTwty1zS ... ity%20game

Vinsanity went up above the rim from 2feet within the foulline, off the glass, and......................................it was a WINMILL!!!!

As for Green's dunk being a 10...I stick with that! VC's off the glass from the all-star game was better in terms of flare, power, and style, but Green got up higher (although I'm not saying VC couldn't get higher than that.) I think VC don't have that youth energy to entertain anymore. So, its not like he is old, he is only 29. But VC, like all other veterans, have mature and don't possess that cocky attitude anymore like Lebron or Wade.

For 6ft person it's even quite hard to make any dunk from that distance. That's really amazing...

At Michael Jordan's camp held in Chicago, over the summer, Gerald Green did a through the legs, and a crazy windmill from almost the free throw line in a game.

And no one said Gerald Green will be better than vince carter. They (I) just said he'll be a better DUNKER.

Actually, come to think of it, Gerald Green WILL be better than Vince Carter. He's gonna be the next T-Mac just like everyone thought.

Vince isn't even that GOOD. He can just dunk. He's 15th in the league in points, and all he does is shoot crazy shots and do sick dunks.

What else is he good for?

hater...... :!:

Not green or anyone else will be better than VC in the dunk category (just my opinion). Do you know how many hihglights VC has?

This season: Zo was the victem
olimpics: Weis

There is so much more. btw...VC can dunk from the fouline with ease. reach back, reach side ways, two hands, double clutch, I have seen it all from VC doing all that from the fouline.

As for a better player, still no!

VC was the MVP of the second half of last season, carrying the nets to the playoffs. I don't look much at stats, but VC's numbers are down this season because of the return of Jefferson.

Read what I said. Vince is a legendary dunker. Gerald Green is a scrub. Maybe not a few years down the road, but he's a scrub right now.

Actually, come to think of it, Gerald Green WILL be better than Vince Carter. He's gonna be the next T-Mac just like everyone thought.

Provide me with evidence that Gerald Green will become better than Vince Carter. Please and thank you.

Vince isn't even that GOOD. He can just dunk. He's 15th in the league in points, and all he does is shoot crazy shots and do sick dunks.

Now this is just dumb. Not only was I only talking about Vince's dunking ability, but you bring into the arguement that he's only a dunker. I find it ironic that you're trying to use this arguement to defend Gerald Green when he's shown us what? Absolutely nothing. You're faulting Vince Carter for being only a dunker when Gerald Green HASN'T EVEN MADE AN IMPACT ON THE LEAGUE YET.

Please continue to tell me that Vince has done nothing in his career other than score, because he obviously hasn't done anything else with a career average of 5.3 rpg 4 apg anbd 1.33spg. Thats like saying Kobe Bryant is only a scorer because he only averages 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Give me a fucking break. Oh wait, Gerald Green almost averages a rebound a game! He's Jesus in disguise I tell you!

Please, respond to this post so I can continue to prove your ignorant and biased ass wrong.

What, are you on crack or something? You saw Vince Carter do all of that stuff?

Vince has those highlights compared to Gerald Green, because Gerald Green has only played like 40 minutes the entire season.
You have no idea what you're talking about.

And Its_asdf , It's not just me who's saying Gerald Green is gonna be the next T-Mac. I agree with all of the thousands of people who think so.

I wouldn't be talking if I were you. I'm not biased. Look at the way you're talking! You're cussing at me, and calling me all these names and telling me I'm wrong on EVERY single one of your posts.

Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, and uh, fuck you dumbass bitch. You know shit.

YOUUU KNOWWW SHIT.

You're the biased one ya little dipshit.

You wait for the future to prove me. Gerald Green is gonna be amazing. By the way you're talking, you're basically telling me that I'm the only person that thinks Gerald Green is gonna be amazing. What? Is that a joke. Apparently you don't watch basketball if you don't know, or have heard all of this chatter about Gerald Green.

Vince Carter, on the other hand, has all of these people around him to finish. Have you watched Gerald Green play? If he had more minutes, he would average 15 points, somewhere near 3 assists, and like 5 rbs a game. Anyone that has watched all 69 Celtics games would know what I'm talking.

I don't wanna hear you say another word about Gerald Green not being better than Vince Carter will be, because if you listen to what analysts have to say about it, then my point will be proven.

Good night, I'm gonna go work on keeping up my 4.0 gpa.

You can say all you want. Kwame Brown was pick first by MJ, look at him now.

VC is the better dunker and better player.

If you want to say green is better...say it went Green becomes better.

What, are you on crack or something? You saw Vince Carter do all of that stuff?

hell yea i've seen VC done all of that....with ease! I'm a big fan, I follow VC alot, thus I conclude I know him better than you.

Yup, Green only play 40 minutes, VC played all of his games when he was rookie and became rookie of the year. you can say VC came out of college and have more experience....and? Green is called the next t-mac...*yawn*...t-mac is nobody compared to MICHEAL JORDAN. VC was dub the next JORDAN. I felt bad that VC was injured prone all his career, but he is back.

Thanks for the explanation Captain Obvious. But I mentioned before that he's unproven and hasn't shown anyone anything overly spectacular.

I wouldn't be talking if I were you. I'm not biased. Look at the way you're talking! You're cussing at me, and calling me all these names and telling me I'm wrong on EVERY single one of your posts.

I'm telling you that you're wrong on every one of your posts? Do I even freaking know you? What are you talking about? I'm not biased. I'm a fucking Raptors fan. I'm supposed to hate Vince Carter. But saying that Gerald Green is going to better than Vince Carter without any proper reasoning obviously means that you're biased. So shove it.

Fuck you, fuck you, fuck you, and uh, fuck you dumbass bitch. You know shit.

YOUUU KNOWWW SHIT.

You tell me that I'm swearing when you go around throwing little hissy fits like these. At least I put my swear words in places where they're needed.

Once again, I'll tell you that I already know that Green is hyped as the next T-Mac; there is a lot of hype coming from fans (mainly from biased people like you) and I don't blame you.

Vince Carter, on the other hand, has all of these people around him to finish.

Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson and Nenad Kristic on a good day. The Nets biggest disadvantage is their lack of depth, and I don't even know where you're going with this pathetic excuse of an arguement.

Have you watched Gerald Green play? If he had more minutes, he would average 15 points, somewhere near 3 assists, and like 5 rbs a game. Anyone that has watched all 69 Celtics games would know what I'm talking.

Oh ok. And if Vince Carter had more minutes then he'd also be averaging better stats.

I don't wanna hear you say another word about Gerald Green not being better than Vince Carter will be, because if you listen to what analysts have to say about it, then my point will be proven.

I've heard that analysts have said he's good, but not to the point where he'll become the next basketball legend. Sure he's got some potential, but looking at the past success of other "T-Mac clones" and highschoolers, there is a lot more going against him.

Good night, I'm gonna go work on keeping up my 4.0 gpa.

Flaunting your 4.0 gpa, huh? Is that supposed to make me believe you're any smarter?

I hate VC, but I have to admit that he is better, and will always be better than Green. He spent half of the season in the D-League.... shouldn't that tell you something? Vicne Carter in his first year did better.
