And if they can't determine a winner by the sixth tiebreaker rule, rock/scissors/paper, best two out of three. ;)

I think if they couldn't get a winner out of all of those tiebreakers, David Stern's head would literally explode.

Most commonly, yes. I don't know why I even chose that order since I usually call it rock/paper/scissors as well but I think it's pretty obvious which game I was referring to. It's not as though my post was accurate to begin with. ;)

EDIT: Fixed typo.

I don't think it really matters. Especially when you start making up your own rules ("Dynamite beats rock! Water beats Dynamite!"). Rock/Paper/Scissors does have a better flow though.

It's ironic that point differential is the very last tiebreaker considering it's the best indication of how good a team is. Even better than win-loss record.

And Detroit will probably have the best record since they can't rest their starters as they don't have a bench.

Yeah, it's rock, paper, scissors. I've heard people say it switching paper and rock.

But, yeah... What about 'atomic bomb / cockroach / foot'?

I've heard, that in the NFL, the very last tiebreaker is fliiping a coin. Not sure, but I think so. I wouldn't want my season to end like that, with a flip of a coin.

If it beats everything, there's no point to the game.

Oh, and to the original topic...I think the Mavs will take it.

My friend did that... but he uses 'God', he puts his wrist's together and makes his hand look like he holding a large ball, which I guess is the world.

I personally only use Rock (Good Ol' Rock, nothing beats rock), and everyone knows it too. Sadly to say... I don't win very much. Oh... but one day... when it is deciding something really important... that'll be the day... that'll be the day I surprise everyone and go with Scissors!

Something like that. Would've been a lot easier if we'd stuck to the traditional rules.
