KG overrated according to Scottie pippen

Mon Mar 20, 2006 6:47 am

I'm sure you guys saw the game on ABC. Scottie call GK one of the most overrated players in the league.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 6:49 am

Scottie is retarded like that, we all know.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 7:47 am

i love scottie, but he seriously has some serious agenda ever since he's retired. he's been flaming people left right and center. KG overrated? come on.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 8:06 am

your poll is so fucking stupid...

go back to wherever it is you came from moron

Mon Mar 20, 2006 8:21 am

lol Thats a bit harsh Lax. :)

Mon Mar 20, 2006 8:51 am

don't agree with it unless you think kg is the best player in the league. in that case i could see where pip is coming from. sorry riot.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 8:55 am

Scottie Pippen writes the stupidest things...

Mon Mar 20, 2006 9:08 am

If you want KG to win a ring by himself... He would be overrated. other than that, I don't think he is. Didn't hear wat Scottie said. Can someone tell me why he thinks Kev is overrated?

Mon Mar 20, 2006 9:47 am

I guess its safe to say that Riot will attempt to murder Scottie Pippen within' the next few weeks

Kevin Garnett and Kobe Bryant are the best players on the league, and really there isn't anyone that close to them either.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 9:59 am

Pfft... Pip's overrated.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 10:01 am

Since he retired, instead of offering smart, intelligent commentary on ABC he's done nothing but rant about players being overrated, like he's so high and mighty.

Get off your high-horse Scottie. (N)

After this yr KG wont ever be the #1 option in his career. hes getting traded to the Lakers and he will have to Play 2nd fiddle to KOBE THE MAN BRYANT and the lakers will win 3 more titles. 8-)

1. duncan
2. kg/kobe
3. wade/lebron

Mon Mar 20, 2006 10:35 am

I respectfully disagree.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:05 am

stupid poll-obviously not overrated

Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:19 am

I think KG just needs a change of scenery as he isnt having the strongest of years and his teammates just dont seem to be on the same page. I dont want to get my hopes up believing he is going to LA but I am sure once he is moved your gonna see him put up solid numbers. How soid? Maybe MVP-type numbers. With the right balce of players around him I dont see any reason he shouldnt play big.

So he isnt overrated I suppose.

well so far i havnt seen im type a good post, and this is no exception

the poll is just fucking ridiculous, and who cares what pippen thinks anyway?

Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:34 am

Since the likes of Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson have constantly blasted the following generations since they retired and for a good part of the last two decades plus, I'd say Scottie Pippen is entitled to his opinions. I don't see anyone calling those two guys "retarded" for having their opinions which are even more egotistical and just as scathing.

That said, I don't think KG is overrated.

Dude, get over it. It's NBA Talk for a reason.

Scottie Pippen has been crying about every little thing since he left the bulls. Calling KG overrated is just insane. Every year my respect level for Pippen decreases. Scottie is the one that was supposed to take the Blazers to the promise land but couldn't handle it. Isn't he calling the kettle black here?

(edit: fucked up the quote code. twice.)

I think you might have scared away another innocent member. Ohwell, another will appear to replace him.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:39 am

Pippen gets paid to give his opinion on ABC nuff said. 8-)

21.5ppg, 12.4rpg, 4.2apg, 1.26spg, 1.35bpg on 52% shooting isn't good enough for you? Isn't MVP type numbers?

I think dada means it's not a strong season by Garnett's standards.

Mon Mar 20, 2006 11:47 am

The MVP type numbers for me would be 24 pts, 14 rbs, 5 assts, 1.5 sts, 1.5 blocks and 54% shooting. Also add that with a better team record. Those kinda numbers are well in his range.
