the update right about this post is the last for tonight  & before you ask, no you're not starting

as for the H Rock, I'm curious too....I know I saw an 'M Rock' on my drive to Vegas....it was a Big M on the top side of a mountain/hill & we were all wondering what it was for :? can't seem to find the pic of it....

EDIT: Poor darkop doesnt get a break.. sitting behind a rookie...

I won't retire Bender as I don't want to stuff up the dbf file  if he's still starting next season & you show significant improvement, then I'll manually move Jermaine to starting PF & you to starting C....

now that you mention it, I might go in & edit Bender & Mashburn's hardiness down to like 5 or 10 so they'll always get injured

as for poor Darko, in my dynasty, he can't catch a break

glad someone liked the league wrap-up, took a bit of time, but gives everyone an idea of each team's depth....it also gives me ideas for trades....look at teams like Clippers & Heat, they really need a backup PG, I have Blake on my IR & The X can play 3rd string PG/3rd string SG, so I might be able to move him in the future

Well, H Rock just stands for Houston Rockets. And the H Rock in my picture...I just googled H Rock and that is what I found. I thought it was interesting, so I just chose it for my avatar.

wow, great coverage.............

when a rookie gets traded later in the offseason, i think that they should be looked as a "draft-night" trade for more realism. like david stern goes up and says. "A trade has been made. The Sonics trade their first round pick Keenan Pack to the Grizzlies for Damon Stoudamire."

nonetheless........awesome coverage, great trade for lee, and I hope u move up the Trailblazers depth chart

cheers, as for the evolution thing, it just popped up in off-season, is new to Live '06, so thought I should show it

as for what I expect, I want this team in the thick of it, competing for a playoff spot of some sort....whether that's possible, we'll have to see, but I would be disappointed with a season like the last one....

okay, yeah, they have them in the US for some reason, M Rock's, H Rock's, Kid Rock's, you name it, they have it....

cheers....however I think I handle that Pack trade as best I could....there's no way that I could have said with a straight face that the Sonics traded their No. 3 overall pick for Stoudamire....the Stevie Franchise angle was the only plausible angle that I could've used....if the trade hadn't of been so crazy, I would've had it as a draft-night trade & had Commissioner Stern announce it, but I didn't think it would have been realistic in this case....

yep, Lee was a great pickup, he's a beast on the boards & I hope he's my representative at the Dunk Contest this season

as for me moving up the depth charts, I've had some up and down games, I'm still the 12th man, but I've proven that I can handle some PG duties & I can shoot the rock, so there will be some minutes there if others aren't performing

don't be so sure about that, Grizzlies have come out strong this season

as for Telfair, I'm hoping he can keep his head on straight....as for Webster, he's really starting to look good....I think he'll be my starting SG either by end of this season or by beginning of season 3  as for Ha, he seems like a poor man's Sit to me

this was a really tough deal for a lot of guys as only two people ended up above 0.000....this is due to the fact that there were so many risers & fallers....each person who entered will be rewarded with 0.001 (except BHMMAFIA who didn't give 14 selections)....1st place receives 0.030, 2nd place receives 0.020 & 3rd place receives 0.010....congrats to H Rock who sucked in the playoff picking, but has turned it around with lottery selections....

'Power' ratings can be used to either demand, influence or request trades or roster movement or reshuffling. The higher your rating, the more chance you will have that I will pull it off for you. NLSC ballers like Mark are not eligible to use their influence as they have less than 1 full selection round (15 matchups), so until they reach that, they have no control over their careers. I haven't determined exactly what the ratings might be like, possible 0.800 to 1.00 will be able to demand a trade & pick the situation they want to go in, or influence another teammate being moved. Below 0.500 has no influence. Between 0.500 to 0.600 can request more playing time. Between 0.700 to 0.800 can demand a trade, but can't pick the situation. Between 0.600 to 0.700 can request a trade (can't pick situation) or can demand more playing time. These aren't set in stone, and I'm open to suggestions, just a bit of fun & intrigue. Something different.

if I made any mistakes in my calculations, please correct me, but I think I got them all right

please get your November picks within a day....

NOVEMBER SCHEDULE (5 games)

vs LAC
@ Hou
vs Mem
@ NYK
vs SAS

If you're wondering the opening day rosters of each team, check out each team's depth charts at the link below:

http://www.nbaliveforums.com/sutra542176.php#542176

Guess my record....I won't guess these as I've already played them  if you think I'll go 0-5, guess 0-5....if you get my monthly record correct, you get 1.0pts, if you get within 0.5pts you get 0.5pts, & outside that you get 0.0pts....these points will count towards your %'s etc, they are not bonus points like the draft lottery....you also get 0.001 bonus points for entering each month....

remember that I only play about 1/3 of my games, intervene 1/3 & sim the other 1/3, so you might want to factor that into the equation

if you wish, you can also try to pick East & West Player & Rookie of Month Awards....there will be no penalties for getting it wrong....you get 0.001 bonus points for entering your 4 selections each month....for each one you get right, you get 0.010 bonus pts, so in any one month you could conceivably get 0.041 bonus pts just for entering, although that is pretty unlikely....

get your picks in

Wow, your dynasty has become quite interesting, to say the least. This is an NLSC first, to have so many contests.

OK, for your record, I guess 1-4.

East Player- Allen Iverson
East Rookie- Andrea Barganini
West Player- Yao Ming
West Rookie- Severin Harding

Man, those are a lot of picks.

You'll go 2-3 in November.

And with the players of the month (maybe you should give a link to the post of the new depth charts).

East Player of the month: Jermaine O'Neal
West PLayer of the month: Kobe Bryant
East Rookie of the month: Rudy Gay
West Rookie of the month: Adam Morrison
