NBA on TV

Postby MetalHead on Mon Mar 06, 2006 1:18 am

Just wondering guys, where do you watch NBA on? (the majority of the games) I have to wait and pray for ever ABC game, since this shitty Sportsnet will never show an 82 game season.

We both have the same problem. TSN is filled with douchebags and prefers to show curling and fishing shows over basketball where as sportsnet shows games that no one cares about and when they have no hockey to show.

ABC is probably the best choice to watch games for me.

What if its all of the above? I watch Knicks games on the local channel , any other game they give on ESPN/ABC . When they give me a free preview of NBA TV/ League Pass , I watch it there.

ESPN....although i much prefered TNT's coverage. Hubie Brown TAUGHT basketball unlike these ESPN losers who always complement a player, or bag Olowokandi or Nesterovic.

ABC on sunday and ESPN on the weekdays, I like ABC the best because they have better announcers in my opinion

well, I'm glad that ABC canned Al Michaels because he knew NOTHING about basketball and it got really annoying... and they got to HUbie before he could go back to TNT

Raptors NBA TV, although they don't have their own commentators, they show games from different networks. Anyone ever seen the Silent Game on NBA TV? It was kind of weird having no commentators.

And I'm going to see them in Toronto!

That's definitly true. The worst part about it is, baseball is starting up again. And you know what that means...Who the hell would rather see Toronto Bluejays play, rather than the NBA Playoffs?

Oh , lol... well, it's pretty even for me. I can get in 4 or 5 games a week on League Pass, and then I catch all the games on ESPN, TNT and ABC over.

I watch too much TV. It's the only time I do my homework too...

If I feel like watching the Wizards I will turn on Comcast SportsNet. Otherwise I mainly follow the big matchups , watching on TNT / ABC / ESPN whenever an interesting matchup airs.

However , due to the fact that I can't bear watching an entire NBA game and rarely do until playoffs , I mostly listen to the radio networks off nba audio league pass.

Yeah same as Andrew, ESPN. It sucks though because i'd prefer even if they put soccer replays from the 80's, even NFL instead of fishing/scrabble/cheerleading/world's strongest fuckhead
