NEW YORK, Feb. 13 – Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin has been fined $15,000 for using inappropriate language, including profanity, during his interactions with fans following the game, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Senior Vice President Basketball Operations.

The incident occurred following the Nuggets’ game against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, Feb. 8 in Denver.

Nuggets GM Kiki Vandeweghe has issued the following statement in response to the fine:
"We have concluded the investigation with the NBA and the Pepsi Center regarding an incident at the Pepsi Center on Feb. 8. We are confident in the manner in which our security handled the situation. We support the NBA's decision and consider the matter closed.

"In no way do we condone disrespectful behavior by anyone asociated with the Nuggets towards patrons of the Pepsi Center. We have the best fans in the NBA and it is important to us that they enjoy their game experience."

lol, all I am sayinh is why would you cuss infront of fans at Pepsi Center, it is a very strict place in terms of cussing. I know that some people here in Denver hate when people cuss, hate when they have to hear it. SPecially if you are an NBA player and you know that you will get something for doing it, why do it?

Yes, Isiah, trade for him. You know you want it.

Off topic: if someone would shoot all his teammates, would their contracts still count against cap space? Because I think I know what NY is doing.
