wow great deal for the magic, and with the upcoming free cap space they may land a great guy on the FA market during off-season.

Bad Trade for the Knicks. Unless they won't trade Marbury by the deadline it's a fifty-fifty chance they can play well together. Maybe a trade for a decent PF would have been better for NY.

I doubt it, that was Ewing's number. He might go back to 25, the number he had in college.

I agree.

I was so hoping he'd be in the deal!

If anyone's a cancer on the Knicks, it's him.

is going to change their jersey number Francis or Marbury?

Francis.

I'm SO hoping there's another deal which involves Crawford getting dealt.

I'm not a big fan of either Rose too.

Ariza , sophomore is just as bad as losing a rookie . He was raw young talent that could've done good to the Knicks for years..

Perhaps they'll trade him to Denver for Watson and Martin? Or do they have another expiring contract which they could send to the Nuggets for Martin's bloated one?

No , I think the Knicks don't have anymore expiring contracts. Closest thing is J. Rose / M. Taylor , they expire after next season..

Well, Martin is the only thing that this team lacks. He fits right in: he's damaged goods, has huge ego and his contract is the Texas-sized. How much dumber can Isiah gets?

Right now I like only Frye on Knicks' roster. And even he's vastly overrated.

Wow now that I think of it it isn't really a good trade unless francis really works out. If the crawford+ taylor rumor for francis was true then it woulda been okay... since crawford and francis both have long term deals
But we just really added to the payroll. 5 years is a long time. Crawford, Marbury, Francis= all long term. hope it works out or theres anther deal coming..

People are acting as Thomas drafted the next big thing. Lets face it - he's gonna be 23 years old in May and so his potential is seriously limited. He had decent athleticism, a superb midrange game, but his D and rebounding are shabby and he isn't exactly a post presence or athletic enough to be as 'dominant' as Bosh and Garnett are/will be. He's a third best player on a championship contender - at best. What exactly has he shown to prove otherwise?

Francis is getting #8 for his jersey. Spree's old numer when he was in the Big Apple.

I agree about Frye. Definitely overrated. Only getting attention cause he's with the New York Knicks and their shit to the power of 10 situation. Not much potential. I'll throw in Dwight Howard also as a player he won't be better than.

I guess they should fire a gm every month until they become a playoff team.

Wait, are you saying Dwight Howard won't get better? Or did I misunderstand that?

I said that Dwight Howard will be better than Channing Frye. It's a bit confusing, I could of replaced he with Frye but I thought it would be easier and quicker. To reiterate, Howard > Frye obviously now and for the future.

Yeah they gotta get rid of Crawford's fat contract somehow. They're saying on Realgm he'll go to Denver for Earl Watson. I'm a bit skeptical about this one. Crawford is pretty unpredictable. Your thoughts?

It's interesting to see how everybody's bagging on Isiah when it was said (unofficially) that Brown had a say in the trade.

Typical Isaiah move, he loves those shooting PGs. Wasn't the first player he ever drafted Damon Stoudamire?

He must stay up night dreaming what he can do to get Ben Gordon and complete his roster of 5 trigger happy small guards:

PG - Marbury
SG - Nate Robinson
SF - Francis
PF - Ben Gordon
C - Jamal Crawford

Well Isiah shouldn't of listened to him. He pushed the button for the trade. Isiah is running the whole joint overseeing all operations, he's knows how much strife there in and he's just stuffing up the Knicks again.
