I think its mixed up between Rudy Gay, Adam Morrison, and LaMarcus Aldridge.

Alot of people say their not sure about Rudy Gays enthusiasm to play basketball as a professional and stuff like that. Im not sure about that.

Adam Morrison if hes compared to Larry Bird, then he really should be the #1 pick. Hes a deadly, deadly shooter. Scouts say he doesnt run the floor so good. I think he does, and he finds people too.

Aldridge, Im not too familiar with...so yea.

I don't know too much about Bird, that was way before my time, but everytime I see Morrison play, he reminds me off Nowitzki. It's not the big body or the ugly hair, but just his style of play, shooting. I believe he could have the same impact in the league.

I dont kno about Aldridge. He will be a top 10 pick thats for sure but not #1 pick worthy. I can see either Morrison or Gay getting that #1 pick.

You're an idiot. What makes him so much better than Dell Curry? In fact, he's won't be better than Atlanta's Salim Stoudamire, who can actually play point guard. Anyone thinking JJ, who's 6'3" BTW, will be able to play point guard needs to get their head out of the clouds and watch an actual Duke game, instead of ESPN highlights.

haha don't worry, in due time people will see the truth, most likely in the NC2A big tourney, in front of a national audience. Wait until Duke plays a team that has that wing player with NBA size and athleticism. He'll shut down this guy just like Rickey Moore shut down Langdon in the Uconn-Duke final a few years back ;)

Then again Cleveland still picked Langdon with the 1th pick in the '99 draft. Denial is a powerful tool

Redick will be a first round pick, but there is no way he goes #1, the GM that takes him over Morrison, Aldrige, and Gay among others is a complete tool. I hate how so many people think Redick is a god just cause he plays for duke, why don't you watch a Gonzaga, or Uconn game? Another guy that I'm high on is Randy Foye from Villanova, he will most likely be a top 15 pick.

J.J. Redick at No. 1 is laughable....come on guys, he's one dimensional....I was gonna bring up the Trajan Langdon argument but air gordon beat me to it....Redick's having a superb season and has moved his stock up from being a late 1st Rounder to a mid-1st Rounder, which is about all he can hope for....due to the fact that a lot of teams that are fringe playoff contenders, you might find that someone uses the pick on Redick in the hopes that his superb shooting touch will be the final piece of the puzzle....for that reason I think he's gonna go in the 11-15 range rather than the 16-20 range based on his strong senior year & his sublime shooting ability....

as for Morrison being like Bird, Morrison is an average rebounder, passer and defender so I wouldn't compare the two....offensively Morrison is a beast, and can score from anywhere on the court....Morrison is also a little quicker than reports said, but I guess he's white, so he's naturally gonna be labelled a slow, white guy....whilst he's not an athlete like the others, he strong, tough & gets the job done....you will either love him or hate him as he's got a real fiery, competitive streak....would be funny to see two competitive, fundamentally sound white guys go No. 1 in consecutive drafts....what's the world coming to

Morrison or Aldridge should go No. 1, with both being locks in the Top 3, barring something crazy happening....Bagnani and Gay also have to be Top 5....you've got guys like Brewer & Carney who are in the mid-to-late lottery spots....if PG's like Rondo enter, it will make the draft a whole lot more interesting & deep, although I'd like him & some others get at least another year of seasoning....

damn I love college ball & the draft :P

If Gay gets a mean streak and UConn goes all the way, he'll be the #1 pick

He;s improving man. Been hittin his threes lately (y)

I think Redick will be perfect for the Rockets who will most likely go in the 11-15 range. He'll basically hit everything Wesley misses.

From what little i've seen, so i'm no expert, but Morrison seems as talented as a pure shooter than Bird but not nearly as well-rounded. In the NBA Bird had his way out there, he drove, passed, shot, rebounded at will. He averaged 10 rpg in the NBA against some extremely athletic guys. Morrison is 6 rpg (last i saw) in NCAA, so he'll average less than that in the NBA (guessing).

Dirk is the same story, Dirk knows how to pull down boards, his career high is 23 boards in one game. He's a presence out there.

Morrison seems more like Pistol Pete Maravich. Pete tore up the NCAA, averaging more than 40+ ppg for 3 years, and the long moppy hair reminds me of Morrison.

Pete ended up going #3 in the draft and had a pretty good NBA career, 24 ppg. It would have been much higher if they had the 3 point line back then, he launched shots from 3 point range & beyond even tho they were all worth 2.

I think Morrison will end up the same, a specialized shooter with decent rebounding & assists but mostly a perimeter guy. At worst, you get Mike Miller who's still a top 6th man candidate and starter quality for most teams.

The Morrison comparison to Bird is laughable. They have their similarities, but let's not underrate one of the five best players of all-time. Bird at Indiana owns Morrison in just about ever facet of the game. maes, Bird was one of the greatest three-point shooters of all-time. Morrison is above-average, but doesn't come close to Larry Legend.

A good comparison in my mind is Glenn Robinson before the injuries.

[OMG! But Big Dog's black!]

Yes, I'm aware. But I'm tired of only being able to compare white players to white players. It's stupid.
