Although he'll never make it: Dennis Rodman! There are few who deserve it more.

I'm surprised nobody put up Bernard King.
Bernard King scored 19,600 points even with a torn ACL in knee that he has to make a comeback from. He scored 32.9ppg while shooting 53%, that's insane. The year before he shot 57%. He was a rock solid scorer in the paint or the perimeter with either hand.
IMHO i think King deserves to be up there more than guys like Iverson or Payton (and that's coming from a Seattle fan).

He didn't have that many good years.

Bernard King was a great scorer, but in my opinion, did nothing to separate himself from the pack of 80's offensive juggernaughts that included Adrian Dantley, Alex English, and possibly Mark Agguire.
All-NBA two years, along with being an all-star for three just doesn't stack up well against the current ten who were named. [Possibly Reggie Miller, who's probably the most replaceable guy on that list, but it's hard to forget the countless performances he put up in the playoffs, along with him being the leader in career three-pointers made.]
