i wish the raptors can do a buy-out of his contract

not that Embry is doing a bad job, but i think he's holding back on a lot of changes just because he is the interm GM. He probably wants the major changes to be done by the real GM.

Colangelo seems like a good candidate for GM, but I wish Wayne Embry would get rid of the "interim" on his title. He's a hall of famer, and people listen when's he's on the phone talking about a trade or something. Too bad he's 68 and got real bad knees...

I think you're confusing the two. Bryan Colangelo (40) is the one talking to the Raptors. Jerry, his father, is the UofI Hall of Famer and the one who's 68.

If Jerry went to the Raptors, then hell yes it would probably be one of the best teams in the league. I'm sure his son would be quite good as well, but he's not as powerful a force in basketball as his dad.

he is really close to coming to the raptors but i think he is going to come after the trade deadline cuz if he comes now or tormow he will be confused with the trades and stuff
