This is the most boring part of the ASW. This is just a filler for the 3-hour All-Star Saturday show and it has always been Magic + Lisa Leslie. :x

I'm not sure about T-Mac or Kobe but they shouldn't be offering money because most of the players are rich as they get. They should be there for the chance of doing it.

Yeah, are they in it every year?

And Thunder Dan and Marion were on it fot the Suns last year too, but it was Diana Taurasi instead. Phoenix dominated last year.

This year my pick is the Rockets, though I don't know if Clyde still plays ball.

From the looks of it last year, Magic don't, so I think he'll hurt the Lakers.

Spurs team, I don't know about the WNBA player, but Kerr and Parker will probably struggle with the half-court shot and other long-range shots.

Maybe the winners should pull a 'Joey Cheek' (for the ones who pay attention to the boring-ass winter olympics).

usually the slam dunk contest got the most out of me, but this year i would kinda watch the whole saturday events...
i mean, even lebron, wade, dirk, ray allen, billups, t-mac and kobe are joining. All the last year winners are defending their title, and that means they might be making the game more interesting..., who knows? If we have an interesting saturday, can you imagine what will happen if they could bring the excitement to the day after it?
or may be they just out there trying to have fun..., who knows...?

im kinda suprised that they selected tony parker for this event, as almost all his shots come in the paint. for me, i would have probably selected ginobilli instead for this competition.

Makes you wonder though, if those names will compete in this event then surely the dunk contest isn't beneath them. But I guess I'm beating a dead horse there.

Chicago's getting a WNBA team this year. With the 2007 All-Star game in Las Vegas, perhaps they could get a Chicago team together featuring Michael Jordan.

MJ returning would be awesome! However i think if they do include chicago, itll be someone like Pippen or something.
