Mavs: 38-10
Spurs: 37-10
Pistons: 39-8

i'm hoping Pistons can stay on top, looks like the East is sealed though.

The weird thing is if anyone remembers Atlanta won against Orlando on a shot by Joe Johnson with less than a second left. It's weird they were able to pull it off twice in a row with another shot by Johnson with less than a second left. :|

Well, up to last week, Detroit was held in a god-like position. Come on. Comparing them to the (maybe) greatest team of all time, and then seriously running a chance to break the unbelievable 72-10. So hey, anything less than perfection doesn't cut it, at least when you want to compare 72-10 Bulls and the now 39-8 Pistons. The Bulls tried it once, trying to beat Magic's record, but fell on their asses. Only when they didn't even want the record, did they set it. If Detroit was ever able to seriously beat the 72-10, then they needed the swagger and confidence to clear out the top-teams like Dallas and San Antonio, but also the humility and consistency to beat the weaker ones. :?

You guys are weird, Pistons are winning the comp and you are going on about a few games.

Maybe have a look at how your team is playing then compare.

It's because they've been playing so well that a loss, not to mention two in a row, is noteworthy news. When a team that's been so unbeatable starts to look human it's an interesting talking point.

Also, why should the record of someone's favourite team disqualify them from commenting on other events in the NBA? If the Pistons lost by 50 points, would it be wrong for a Bobcats fan to remark on the matter? If such a thing happened, I think we'd all be entitled to express disbelief and amazement no matter how our respective favourite teams are doing.
