yep, nash has been in the 3 point contest before, think like 2-3 years ago, got knocked out in the second round.

there was a good article about this somewhere, completely supporting his decision not to go in it. the dunk contest puts uneccesary strain on your body, and this is a young player who has started all but around 4 games since he started the NBA! he deserves, and needs, every weekend off he can find.
