Big Ben vs AK47?

Who's better?

In my opinion Big Ben is a better player with all that muscle, power, ability to block and rebound. but in my opinion AK47 has some better points about him as well. Both are one of the Best Topguns in "D"

It's not the best two players you can compare both different postions and all but here are the Strengths and Weaknesses of both players.

Ben Wallace has alot more strength and power then what AK has and having a higher percent FG rate although only with just under eight ppg.

Big Ben also at Centre gets more rebounds then AK. But most SF's don't get too many rebounds

Andrei Kirilenko on the other hand has a higher PPG then Ben Wallace and gets more steals and blocks then Big Ben.

AK's very prone to injury compared to Big Ben.

AK gets more assists then Ben Wallace on average.

Andrei Kirilenko
PPG 15.8
RPG 8.4
APG 4.4
SPG 1.70
BPG 2.73
FG% .439
FT% .691
3P% .293
MPG 38.4

Ben Wallace
PPG 7.8
RPG 12.4
APG 2.1
SPG 1.57
BPG 2.24
FG% .495
FT% .460
3P% .000
MPG 36.5

both are one of the best? lol

Wallace is better. He is the 5th scoring option when on the team, and still gets 8 points. If you look over time, he is a better stealer and blocker as well. Injuries also mean he is way better.

2 totally different players but they do the exact same thing, change an entire game with their defense. IMO the best defenders in the league since they can affect the ENTIRE opposition not just 1 player.

Kirilenko is better, way more versatile. AK can guard ANYONE in the league.
Big Ben's D may be slightly better, but obviously he's got no offense going. That's why people bring up Big Ben when they're talking about defense too.

Kirilenko can handle the ball pretty good, has a good midrange/average 3pt shot (but he can hit the big ones) and he can post up or drive inside too. Of course Big Ben is a C so he's not expected to be able to step out and shoot, there's the different position dilemma but still.. if you manage to compare AK and Big Ben, I'm going with AK in the end.

Big Ben is a better and more pure defender, but Kirilenko is definitely way more versatile.

Two of my favorite players, although i have a slight leaning towards AK as he's a more well rounded player. He gets 15 ppg and 4.4 apg, and often times he's the playmaker for the Jazz.

Still, AK's recent string of injuries is scary.
