I'd heard rumblings of that, I'll keep tabs on the salaries at HoopsHype. Thanks. (Y)

Baron Davis - he's shooting like crap this year. FT, field goal and 3pt shooting needs to take a hit. He's averaging 15.4 which is the lowest since his sophomore season. Really taking control of the team though, and is averaging 9.4 assists per game.

EDIT:
Seems like Wally also has a tradekicker. Last paragraph from this article.

Fuck off Jugs :| ... maybe it's because I'm doing a fantasy draft? I think I'll do a normal one this time and hope for the best.

i have had 0 problems with dynasties or anything with this roster. I find that its usually not the roster itself, but a patch or something you downloaded, i bet if you like revert your PC to like 10 days ago, it'd go away.

I'd have to revert it to about a month ago. I've restarted 4 times now.

EDIT: I just successfully simmed both a fantasy and non-fantasy season with no trouble; maybe it was a problem with the previous version of the roster but not this one.

I've been testing each version thoroughly since that problem last year so there shouldn't have been any problem. Haven't experienced a crash yet.

You've got to be kidding me. I tried to sim the season to see if it would work, low and behold at the end of November I get a 'Codebase Error'. Could it be because I have a created player? Or maybe because I swapped some players via the .dbf?

it cant be the roster patch because nobody else is having problems, it has to be some patch or messing with the .dbf that you did

I think it happens when I swap players via the .dbf, because I can sim a whole season without problems if I don't do that. I can edit ratings, however, without a problem. Whatever, it works now.

There might be a couple of errors when you've swapped players...if you've traded players between teams, make sure there's no overlapping ROSTERPOS values.

I changed the original team, team, roster position and cashteam values when I did it, is there another one too?

That's all that needs to be changed. Did you use Access or Excel?

Nope, I use DB Commander for everything. Ah well, it doesn't matter, I can deal with it.

Must be a problem in there somewhere...you're not changing any other values, you're certain there's no overlapping or invalid ROSTERPOS values? That's all I can suggest at this point.

John Salmons speed and quickness are both 75? Does he really need to be faster?

I haven't seen him play though so yeah..

75? There you go, for some reason I only thought I upped it to around 65 or so. I'm not sure about making it any higher than 75.

75 is pretty good. He had bibby on lockdown a few games ago, and bibby is quick.

I would say make salmons quick 80 and speed 65.

Despite I'm a ps2 player, i get the roster patch and right now changing the ratings 1 by 1... I'm working on it for a couple of hours and as i see you made a great work Andrew (Y) thanx a lot... If you accept let me suggest some minor rating changes about some Timberwolves players for the next update... Here they are ;

Trenton Hassell : I know Trenton isn't a star player, but i'm sure everyone agrees that he's one of the best frontcourt defencemen in NBA. I don't complain about his steal-block ratings, but his defensive awareness rating deserves better than 68. Also his 3PT rating (13) also need some minor improvement, he don't have a perfect range or style but sometimes he makes it when he's open.

Rashad McCants : Till now he's disappointing rookie of the year for sure, but in real life he's a great dunker (15 in game), has a good jumping skill (50 in game), lightning quick (62 in game) and as fast as a point guard (67 in game). I think these 4 ratings need some major improvements. Overall rating is fair so his inside scoring, strenght, passing, stealing and blocking can be decreased to get enough points.

Troy Hudson : Only his free throw rating (77) needs minor improvement.

Marko Jaric : Similar like Hassell he needs some improvement on his defensive awareness (43). At frountcourt defense he's not as good as Hassell but he's above league avarege and deserves better than 43 in my opinion.

Eddie Griffin : His FT (71) and 3PT (72) ratings show recession this season. You can decrease them a little bit. Need some more blocking (78) rating cause, he's a real blocking monster with 2.35 bpg in 20 minutes of play.

thanx a lot again Andrew, great work there (Y)

hows it going andrew.

-just a quick heads up on petersons hardiness rating. he currentley holds the current nba record for consecutive games played.

-also artest is no.93.

- i think bonzi wells 3's need to be dropped, they improved on this years game but this season they seem to have dropped again i think his currentley 5-26.

- earl watson is one of the best on the ball defenders in the nba for a point guard,. maybe he warrants a defensive awarness rating in the 80's.

thanks andrew, good job.

do you ever go on hoopshype.com andrew?
