I'm gonna see this (Y) The story doesn't seem to be the same as the other basketball-teams-movies (Coach Carter, Hoosiers, A Season On The Brink)
But I don't think that there will ever be a basketball-related movie better than "He Got Game"

Check the imdb, the film is getting its first reviews. One guy described it as racist (agains caucasians), with stereotypical characterization of white people. Wow. We sure got far.

I know! That's my biggest complaint. That part just about ruined the whole movie.

I found that part pretty funny  my sister was watching it with me and asked me if the guy mentioned was in the NBA....I'm like "I don't think so, LBJ only entered league a couple of years ago. Movie was based on events long before LBJ was a storyline"

you would think that they would have picked up something so obvious

Well VA Tech is cheap, we have meters here but not a toll.

Yes , at the New River Valley Mall it costs absolutely nothing to park , so if i were to see it i would see it there. Unfortunately I didn't see it Saturday and I spent Sunday morning driving back to VA Tech so I'm tired and really don't want to see it this weekend. Maybe later.
