there is no such thing as a shut down defender, at least on this planet

imagine if there was- he would probably be the highest paid player in the league

You should burn in hell for saying something as stupid as that. :x Bosh is untouchable for the Raptors, and he isn't going anywhere.

OK? R U RETARDED? I Said I would trade Pierce for Bosh since Im from the Boston area! I didnt say it would happen I just say I would do that, you should burn in hell for not thinking

I wish Memphis would really try to take advantage of this oppurtunity and find a star to go along with Pau because they are only one good player away from becoming a contender in the West. I know if we did try to trade for Pierce, they would want someone like Battier who Memphis won't part with. If they don't get him, they would most likely want Miller, who I want us to keep because he is one of our most versatile players and he did get a triple double a few days ago and is a sixth man canidate this year.

Other than Battier and Miller, there's not much the Griz can offer to Boston, methinks.

JW is not nuts. He'll not give up Gasol for a perimeter guy, no matter how good he may be.

loreznen + battier + miller for pierce and #1 pick
would you do it if you were the grizzilies..
I don't even think celtics want to give a superstar + lottery pick for those 3
but would the grizzilies do it? they don't lose much in miller b/c they get pierce back, they don't lose any offence battier offers, pierce is a 25+ppg scorer.. Wright can be replaced by a #1 pick easily...

would be interestng

Jugs' no. 1 golden trade suggestion rule. Use RealGM's trade checker first. Come up with a possible scenario so YOU do not become the retard.

Sheesh Bosh for Pierce, Pau for Pierce, you've been playing too much NBA Live with all those dynasties

It depends, they could send Antoine Walker back to the Celtics again LOL. I don't know a whole lot about Pierce's game... is he much of a defender? The Heat have more than enough offense, so i dont think they're looking to add anything but defense and maybe rebounding.

I don't see why the Celtics would reject a trade to the Eastern Conference... they won't be a winning team for several more years minimum

I was jsut saying I would trade Pierce for Bosh straight up, obviously salary wouldnt match but you can throw in others to make it match.

1cent:
loreznen + battier + miller for pierce and #1 pick
would you do it if you were the grizzilies..

Why would the celtics do that? I seriously think that is the worst trade ever! We give a superstar for 3 scrubs AND probally a lottery pick.

Its only Bosh's 3rd season and he's doing VERY well, and he isnt making a lot of money compared to Peirce, so why would the Raptors trade for a veteran who makes A LOT of money, and only has a couple of years left.

You should still go to hell for saying that. :P Bosh is already one of the top-tier fowards in the East and he's still 21.

Oh yeah and I think that the Memphis trade that 1cent mentioned earlier isn't as bad as you think. The Celtics don't have that many swingmen and Mike Miller is an exellent scorer (although he can tend to be quite streaky), Shane Battier is an extremely cerebral player with hustle and defence; which is something you won't see too much these days. Lorenzen Wright is also better than any of the other overpaid pieces of shit at the center position and his 7 million expires after this season. PLUS a first round pick that probably isn't worth much considering that the Grizzlies aren't going to be a lottery team, but valuable for the future nonetheless.

Then again, Pierce is having his best season, and a trade to Memphis will definitely help Pau relax a bit more and play the second fiddle on offence.

What the hell? No. Paul Pierce is really helping out the celtics this year. I don't wanna see him leave.
