Air Zoom Kobe I

Anyone get a new pic of Kobe's new signature shoe?... i know he wore at the Christmas game against the heat, but from the highlights that i;ve been seeing the last couple times he's wearing the Hurache 2k5

it's a good design imo, one of the better ones in the last couple years. personally i prefer this over the zoom lebron III. the shoe kinda resembles the melo 18.5's though.

I dont like them at all. Nikes all look the same. I guess Jermaine ONeals are OK but Im not a Nike fan.....I like Reebok, Adidas and I like the Wades

It was released but in minimal numbers, I guess to give people a small taste.

Sneakers these days have gone to shit. That's why I stick to Ecco & Cat shoes.

Except Kobe specifically negotiated the rights to have design input on his shoe...so shoot Kobe because this thing is hideous.

VC's shoe designers are still tops.

Interesting. I think he tried to combine retro with modern, but of course, they can't go together. I don't know what Nike was thinking by giving a player, with no art/design knowledge, input on shoes that are being sold for millions of dollars.

They didn't have that stale "throwback" but new feel to it. It was something different. The other shoes are just that, sort of vintage, yet new. Make up your mind, it's either a classic design or a new design. You can't have some of both worlds.

I liked the yellow color ways of that shoe, I wouldn't be caught dead wearing em, but in a LA uniform, they looked damn good. I remember I downloaded them for the entire LA Squad in Live 2001. Matching shoes for the yellow J's. Well, cept for Shaq, he had that ugly purple black type of thing on his feet.

Edit: Hehe, I wrote that post before reading Cy's, basically typed it right after Jae's post. Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels they are trying to combine vintage with modern.

This new Kobe shoe is just a little modification of the 2k5 isnt it..

Imma big kobe fan so i like his shoes..i have the KOBETWO from Adidas and THis past summer i bought the Nike Hurache2k5 in the Lakers Colorway. I like the design of the new shoe, except that it looks just like LeBron's first shoe. Don't u guys agree?.

I heard that during the Christmas game that the shoe was available in The L.A. Area and nationally in Febuary - march. Those first Kobe's are being re rereleased this march int the white with purple and yellow. BUt they were renamed since Kobe's not with Adidas anymore. They renamed them to "Adidas Crazy"

Hey i got some new pics of the Zoom Kobe I shoe....These will be the ones he will be wearing in the All-Star game.... They will be around $130 and will go on sell between Feb.1-Feb. 18....hope u like them....some were kind of hard to look at...

i got 2k5's they are pretty good. they feel better than 2k4.
