Da Full Story wrote:LAS VEGAS – Jan. 6, 2006 – Google has teamed with the NBA to make current season NBA games available online for the first time as part of the launch of its Google Video Store, the first open video marketplace where consumers can buy or rent a wide range of video content, it was announced today by Larry Page, Google’s Co-Founder and President, Products, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

People who visit the Google Video homepage at http://video.google.com will be able to access 2005-06 NBA games and some of the greatest individual performances in NBA history. Why don't they do it for live games? I mean it would be more exciting and better for people who don't have cable or the channel.

Cool idea. I bet I could spend a lot of money with that, if I wasn't saving at the moment.

They've still got their classic games though. Dialup users won't want to use it either.

But if you watch all of your team's games, that 82 games times $3.95. That's $323.9 a year. If that's American dollars, then (N) .

Don't be a cheap ass. $323 in a year isn't too bad. That's like 80 cents per day.

And you still could see all of your favorite team games. It's way cheaper than going to all of them.

or paying $75 a month for cable TV.

I'd only order Pistons wins, which means probably 65-70 games :P

Has anyone from Australia tried to actually purchase from the Google Video site? I clicked on the picture of the video on the search screen, and it said
We're sorry, but this video is not available in your country.

DAMMIT!!!
