McGrady didn want to play with Carter, I know he didnt mind playing in Toront, he just had a problem playing in Carters shaow, because Carter was theyre whole franchise. If McGrady stuck around, and with the rest f the players, we could have won a championship.

Arujo has to step his game up 100000%

Where do you get this shit from? I'm tired of bitter Toronto fans whining that he left because he was jealous. He was not. He was offered more money, more playing time, and was closer to his actual home in Orlando. What more could you want?

Uhh he wanted out of Toronto, even sports channels and peope w.e say so. I was watching TSN or the Score and they were reviewing the Toronto Raptors franchsie and they even said McGrady didn't want to play alogn side Carter, adn he even said taht the Raptors was Vince's team.

Yes, he did want to get out of Toronto, but it had nothing to do with jealousy.

 @ Watching TSN or any other Canadian broadcasting channel for basketball information. Also, if you say that McGrady acknowledged that it was Vince's team, than the whole point you were trying get across in your previous post about McGrady being in Carter's shadow irrevelant? If he understood that Vince was the franchise player than he was obviously content "in his shadow" for the time being.

That's right, we spanked Indy's so called "championship" team on their home court. If you can't get it done against the Raptors then you're not going to get far in the playoffs.

Morris Peterson did a good job at the end by stealing the ball in the final seconds and he has really stepped up his game lately.

Haha ye. I lost hope in my team in the third quarter but dammn they came back some how. Also check that out ... we moved past the Knicks and now are in 4th place in the Atlantic Division. Take that Ceekay and DoobieKnicks

bad sign for the pacers, if we can beat them with ron artest not in the lineup, the rest of the teams should have no problem...

Ron is on the inactive list right now. Also, you know that the Pacers are trying to ship out Artest and everything.

a win vs. the hawks means a lot. It mean your killing your chances at having the most pingpong balls for the lottery!
and also that you aren't the worst team in the NBA

I'd rather kill our chances at the lottery while keeping Bosh happy than to get the number one pick and give Bosh a bad impression.

quality big men are steadily decreasing in the NBA, and I'd like to keep the one that we have now since the 06 draft supposedly has crap ass centers anyway.

We are now only 1 game behind the Bobcats, 3.5 behind the Celtics and Bulls, and 4 games behind the Wizards i believe. This turned out better than i expected. And i agree with you guys that it is better to do well in the season and prove to themselves that they have a decent team than be the laughing stock of the league. As Its_asdf said, this also keeps Bosh happy.

The raptors right now need to worry more about the situation with Rose and all the Williams than the draft picks. Babcock and Mitchell needs to find a way to use those guys or trade them. If the raps can clear some caps, than we are in a good situation. I believe we have the right guys to be a good team. We do need a center but right now Bosh/CV are doing a good job at the PF and C position. Arujo, and hopefully Sow will get used to the game and i believe they will be able to contribute a lot more. Another problem is the PG position. We have James and Calderon, but James is a FA at the end of the season, but the question is do we keep him or let him go and clear the cap? James is not exactly young, but if we can keep him for the same salary, than i'm happy. He's a good player, and is fitting in very nicely with the organization.

great post, besides, you dont have to be the worst team to get first overall pick. last year, milwaulkee wasnt the worst but they still won the draft lottery and got to draft first. we can do the best we can, and (using this term loosely) "possibly" make the 8th and final playoff spot. the way we are playing as of late, i think we can atleast somewhat contend for that 8th place. Also on the subject of our play as of late, our losses will still be somewhat more satisfying if we were playing with heart and team basketball.

We beat the Magic, and we didn't even need Bosh either. What the hell was Steve Francis smoking that game? He completely blew ass.
