It was probably how Kobe handled it afterwards. Usually players apologize and act like good kids when the L investigates something, i'm guessing Kobe felt no need to apologize.
Remember Stan Van Gundy was threatened to be banned from the League for life for not apologizing & retracting his statement, nuff said.

I dont really see a problem with Kobe talking tough cuz when he playin it str8 didnt get him anywhere and people didnt like him so it doesnt make a difference. I hope he turns to the DARK SIDE! Muhuhuhuhhahahaha!!!!!!!!!
