heh Bogut has a whopping 19 dunks so far
haha that was a funny one, Axel
That post made very little sense. Where exactly did I claim Bogut to be a dunker, or even mention him dunking for that matter?

Lebron not hit three's? The guy has hit 41 three's and is shooting 35% from downtown, don't know where you got that idea
Bah, a Pistons fan saying (of all players) LeBron and Dwyane Wade are boring. What else is new?
I don't really like watching Wade play. He needs the ball to contribute on offense. He can't play off the ball at all
All it is in late game situations is isolating Wade and having him drive to the basket
Can't say I agree with the notion that those guys are boring

I'm a big Kobe fan but Vince is alot more exciting to watch when he is ON. Kobe takes too many jump shots IMO and I would love to see him drive more like Wade or Lebron.

Lol if your country's prior basketball legacy in the NBA was Luc Longley, Chris Anstey and Shane Heal you'd be a bit defensive over someone like Bogut too.

that's deceiving though....guys give LeBron space to hit that shot because he'll blow by them....he gets plenty of clean looks.
exactly my point.....which makes Wade one of the easiest "superstars" to stop in the last few seconds of the game since teams just pack the middle and give him a J which he can't make.

That's a weak argument, it's just part of his game. It's not like he gets open looks because there's a guy like Shaq in the paint deserving more attention. He gets those open looks because he has such a complete game.Matt wrote:that's deceiving though....guys give LeBron space to hit that shot because he'll blow by them....he gets plenty of clean looks.
Same here, too bad you'll never see these kind of plays in the courtside countdown or daily top 10's. Instead you get these average dunks from Wade and Lebron at 1, 2, 3. And 4-10 most of the time are plays that anybody could do, like a simple behind the back pass or someone who trips over his warmup pants.Matt wrote:i prefer watching the team game. The most exciting plays for me are those that stem from some nice passes.

I don't really like watching Wade play. He needs the ball to contribute on offense. He can't play off the ball at all. Van Gundy was trying to get him to earlier in the year since he had great playmakers such as J-Will and Payotn playing with him, but Wade couldn't adjust to it. He's ruined the Heat half-court offense. All it is in late game situations is isolating Wade and having him drive to the basket. His decision-making isn't too great and his three-point shot is non-existent. He'll sometimes just throw any shot up in attempt to get fouled. It's becomes quite boring after awhile.

I have no problem with you not liking him play, who cares about that. This wouldn't be a problem for you though if Payton wasn't on the Heat [I'm laughing but it's true]. He's not the only guy that needs the ball to play, their's other players that need that too, not everyone can be a catch and shoot guy. Even with that, Wade doesn't need to have the ball all the time, he can come off the curls and do quick penetrations, and also catch and shoot. How could he have ruined the Heat's halfcourt offense when those guys weren't even there last season? They're the ones that should be adjusting to him who in this "ruined" half court offense almost want to the finals [and to many without injuries could've], not the other way around. He hasn't ruined anything, the team is winning and last year were one of the most efficient halfcourt teams in the league

called being a good player, you think that doesn't happen with other players? Common, what kind of excuse is that, the guy hit's the same type of three's other star players hit, defenders aren't just sagging off him hoping he shoots and doesn't drive, unless they'd be getting burnt. Also a lot of these star players can drive anyways, previously people thought sagging off Wade would make him shoot, but he just ignored it and penetrated anyways.
Except for the fact that he's clutch, was clutch last season and is clutch this season. How can a guy be the easiest guy to stop down the stretch and be a Top crunch time player 2 years in a row? Teams don't stop him down the stretch, even when they packed the lane. He can shoot you know, he hit's jumpshots, and even still gets to the basket down the stretch. For a Pistons fan who saw the guy reak havoc on your team last season in the playoffs even with the double teams etc, I don't know how you can seriously believe this.
