Nice game indeed by Vince. Quite a few players putting up 50+ games recently. I wonder if anyone will attempt to break the Christmas Day record of 60, set by Bernard King back in 1984? Personally I wouldn't mind seeing it. I've been enjoying the scoring race so far this year. Reminds me of old times.

I think Wade is gonna light it up on Christmas. Im thinking he'll drop 45 or 50 on Los Angelas. For some reason, Wade is gonna attack like a bastard and score like a son of a bitch, lol

Depends what we're comparing to, the later 90's and earlier 2000's, their were a lot of grind it out teams. A player having a big night is more the player being hot than bad defense. Vince had 43 on Bowen last year, Gil had what was it, 41 on Bowen and Parker on the Spurs.

Vince has been tearing it up lately, what is seems like is that the Nets have finally defined the players roles. Kidd you're back to being the main playmaker as opposed to it kinda being shared by all three. Carter you're scorer #1, look for your shot without hesitation, and Jefferson you're scorer #2 and also an all-round guy. They've been playing much better since they seemed to have gotten rid of the confision. Their inside presence still sucks though.

Good game by Vince. I watched the game and the 51 points is more Vince than it is bad defense. He hit some really tough shots down the stretch (especially with Shaq in his grill) and made some amazing plays. The Heat did their best trying to guard him.
