great game by AI
53 points on 17-31 shooting, 19-21 free throws, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 0 turnovers
.. too bad they lost
Sat Dec 24, 2005 1:19 pm
Vince Carter with 51 tonight to tie his career high and help the Nets get their 5th straight win with a victory over the Miami Heat.

Damn, Philly loss and New Jersey win not good for standings. Great effort by the two players though.
Sat Dec 24, 2005 4:08 pm
wtf? Philly was winning that one...crap.

Phladelphia's defense is very bad. This game showed it.
They have the offense, but no defense.
Sat Dec 24, 2005 6:52 pm
Who cares how many points he scored, if they loss.
Sun Dec 25, 2005 2:49 am
the hawks are suddenly a dangerous team
minus the 0-9 start they'e been 7-9 since and lost some close games in that stretch
they've won 5 of there last 7 too
Sun Dec 25, 2005 2:57 am
wait, are they replicating the Bulls of last year?
Sun Dec 25, 2005 3:53 am
I think so, either them or the Raptors, they have been red hot lately.

Seems like Salmons took the shots in the final minutes (he missed) and he's saying that his teammates are talking shit about it. That's bad for the team

Phillie probably has the worst bench in the league... I hope AI does not get burnt out ...

Freakin' Willie Green got injured before the season started

At least Shavlik is a nice energy guy.
Sun Dec 25, 2005 4:52 am
Anthony got 25 today...
and the Nuggets finally won!yay!
Sun Dec 25, 2005 1:59 pm
I thought this was a thread about AI.
btw It would be nice to see Iverson on a different team. I am kinda tired of seeing him in a Sixers uniform, maybe a change would be good for him.

Yeah, I think Shav could have a nice season off the bench. Seems like he has the intangibles like defense and rebounding, but he gives us some offensive production aswell.

Randolph hustles hard and brings that energy that you want from a bench guy.
Phillie probably has the worst bench in the league...
LAL?
Philly's bench aint that bad. I like Salmons, he comes off the bench and creates scoring opportunities. I wish he ate into Korvers minutes.

Nah, it wouldn't.

Games like these happen all the time for Iverson in nba live...
He shat out 60 points on me and I still won
Hawks are looking good
Mon Dec 26, 2005 9:35 am
It's not only Iverson but almost every point guard puts up big numbers in NBA Live. Frickin Williams for Miami almost grazed 50 on me once.

I wish the ground would open up and swallow you dadamafia, and engulfing you in flames.
I don't think the Sixers management would repeat the same mistake they had with Charles Barkley.

they almost traded him in 2001 to Detroit for Jerry Stackhouse...problem was Matt Geiger refused so the deal fell through.
btw, AI is my fav non Piston, so i don't wanna see him in anything but a Philly jersey.
Mon Dec 26, 2005 8:55 pm
^^ I knew that. Larry Brown wanted that trade to happen.
Geiger is a hero!

Geiger was amazing when he played.

He looked like some ugly bouncer turned basketball player, he was always ready to commit a flagrant to break up an open layup.
