But MJ fans were given the privilege just to watch MJ play again. We all wanted to see MJ win, which was the same as wanting to see the Wizards win. But MJ fans don't care for the Wizards anymore because their favorite player isn't on it anymore. Is that wrong to do or something?

My favorite player is Gary Payton and my favorite team USED to be the Sonics, but now it's the Bucks. Some teams I follow, but sometimes it's just individual players.
