It wouldn't surprise me to see him get the axe. As they always say, you can't fire all the players but you can fire the coach. Given the trend in recent years, it wouldn't surprise me to see Sam Mitchell also sent packing before the season is through.

I'm not too fond of Mitchell either, but definitely, I can see Woodson being gone. He's done crap with this Atlanta team.

Sam Mitchell is a good coach, if he is fired I wouldn't mind seeing him back in Minnesota as an assistant coach under Coach Casey.

Sam Mitchell is still a young coach, so I think he'll get the benefit of the doubt from Babcock, but Mitchell really needs to work on his defensive schemes and learning how/when to make substitutions. He played Jalen Rose on Ben Wallace before. Jalen fucking Rose!!! :x I remember we got blown out that game too.

Seeing that the Raptors signed Gene Keady on to their coaching staff is a big sign that Mitchel is almost gone. Keady was a great coach in all his years at Purdue and he'll be the coach if the raptors suck REAL bad come the break.

Yes, but if Mitchell can get them to 2-3 games back in that terrible division (they're 5 or 6 back right now), his job will be saved. But I doubt thats gonna happen...

exuse me if im wrong but isn't a veterens role to lead their team is mentality and keep their young guys focused. if you ask me i think Jalen rose is one of the biggest bitches in the raptors organizations ( between him and babcock) He is like night and day with performance, i mean day night night night night night night day , you get the picture
For a long time it gave me nightmares... witnessing an injustice like that... it's a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be... I can still hear them taunting him... silly rabbit, tricks are for kids... I mean, WHY COULDN'T THEY JUST GIVE HIM SOME CEREAL?

So what are you complaining about? He's role IS to lead the team, mentally. And what you are asking him to do is physically lead the team by scoring. He's old give him a break. I like Rose, cause he's never complained being in Toronto where other veterans have tried to get to a winning team by doing all the "unethical" things... cough*Moruning*cough. Rose is a good leader off the court, in the locker room.

i agree with you with being a leader off the court but he needs to keep his team in the game on the court as well at least show the young guns that there is hope for them. He is always biting his nails or out of the game mentally that bugs me

Why horrible coaches like Woodson and Mitchell weren't fired last year is beyond me...

I'd say look for Adleman to finally get the axe if the Kings can't pull it together...

Yeah, that'll be the day. Rose in no way is a good leader in the locker room or on the court, and it shows.
