Is splitting a double-team defense a superstar move?

Postby TheBatman on Mon Dec 05, 2005 4:49 am

In the intro movie, McGrady does that to a couple of people.

Is this a superstar move I can pull off with a button combo if I'm about to be, or am already being, double-teamed???

I'd love to have a counter-option to the "double team animation" other than passing the ball off.

it's not a superstar move nd there is no certain triggers that would make a player split a double team....ney player could do it

Yep

I dont think so, I think you need a high dribble rating to go through them.

The way to do it is if a double-team is approaching, just keep running.

I presume (but this IS EA we're talking about) that they made it that the higher rated dribblers can go through double-teams more often than low-rated dribblers...

I hope so or i'll throw my game out the window Laxation style :P

I did it with wade and umm ray allen!

no idea how but it owned and i hit pause and watched myself do it about 50 times. said "tyte" and went back to playing.

Jugs: you may throw it out the window but i bet youre ass makes it out the door to get it back before it hits the ground.

Hmm I did that with Nazr Mohammed, a very quick man... No seriously, I think every player can do it, just you have to move him at the right place.

I think that you have to move at the space between the players coming at you. I've done it with Iverson.
