Wade or kobe?

Postby eastinglandboi on Fri Dec 02, 2005 1:30 am

This may have been done before but i'll do it anyway. Who is currently the better player Wade or Kobe? i personally think that Wade is the better player because of his rebounding ability and assists, those two things just push him past kobe for me, not saying that Kobe can't dish out assists or rebound because that is a big part of his game too, but Wade is just better at it.
I'll be back for EASO 2007, feel the terror like its 05 again i own this game!!

Talent-wise: Bryant

Team-wise: still Bryant. He has the rings.

Sanity wise: Wade by far.

Team-wise Wade, definately.

Kobe has rings because he teamed with Shaq in his prime a long with several other good players.

As a Kobe fan: Wade. A 6'4 guy giving you a average of 25-7-7. Amazing.

The only thing bad about him is advertizing Live '06.
Give respect, get respect.

Kobe Bryant is a top 3 player in the NBA, Dwyane Wade isn't a top 7 player in the NBA.

End story.

Is it only my imagination or is Wade really turning into a volume shooter?

Yeah, I also have that feeling about him, which is not good when you're talking about a guy who has a shaky jumper and a lot of trigger happy teammates that would much rather shot reckless shots instead...

I love Wade. He's my favourite player from the 2003 crop (Le Bron included) but he has to become a decent defensive player and devellop some range in his game to get to Bryant's level, but eventually, he'll get there. Man if he was just a bit higher...

About Kobe's numbers... It's not like he's ball-hogging this year, who can he pass the ball to? Odom is the only other one remotely consistent on that sorry team, other than Kwame, who consistently sucks.

Wade has the luxury of sharing the floor whith a bunch of guys that, as flawed as they are, are a few notches above the lakers squad talent wise. It's easier for him to create for others. And he nows he doesn't have to score 40 points against a triple team in order for his team to have a chance to win.
Would anybody on the Lakers, other than Kobe and Odom, start anywhere else in this league?

maybe you guys should give your definition of a volume shooter...

wade takes an average of over 20 shots to get 25ppg. he gets to the ft line line very often (2nd most) and shoots a respectable 44% from the field. most of this has been without the big guy in the middle

WADE in a minute. Wade is more athletic, averages 26/7/7 as of right now, better team leader. Shoots the ball better, and his bball IQ is much higher.

And plus, Wade automatically wins, Kobe was the one who raped someone

How do you know Wade is more athletic?
How is he a better team leader?
I still think Kobe is a better shooter.
Wade doesn't automatically win. The Heat as a team win games.
You can't judge someone on the court by whatever happened off the court.
