I reckon he'll blow the money on drugs, sex and alcohol and then try to come back to the NBA after 2 years, but fail to do so until he's 35, then he'll get a 10 day contract and then get cut.

It's not like he is crippled, he can still do things in life. He has millions of dollars to do what he wants. He could go to college and get a degree. He could travel the world. He could do a lot of things.
