Don't you think the suns offseason moves(other than signing nash and richardson last season) are pretty fucking dumb
1. they trade away luol deng
2. they trade away nate robinson and richardson
3. they trade away joe johnson for bors diaw?!
i dont mind trading richardson n johnson for defence its just for the past 2 years theytraded away amazin young talent in tehre draft pick)deng and rbinson) whats next?

You really don't know what you're talking about.
1. Deng was traded to free up some cap space for signing Nash&Q. I agree that it was a dumb, dumb idea (they could've drafted Iguodala, who played for Arizona and would be great in their system.).
2. They traded away Q and their draft pick for Kurt Thomas, a rebounding and defensive minded big man, who can theoretically help them much, much more than defensless, one-dimensional Q. And they didn't need Nate, because they already have a scoring PG in Barbosa. What they need is a pass-first PG and Nate doesn't really fit into that description.
3. They didn't really have a choice. They could either overpay him or send him away with compensation. They got Boris Diaw, who is seriously underrated and fits in their system perfectly. With his size (a legit 6'9''), length, athleticism and skills he can play a PF/SF for the Suns, much like Shawn does, but with more like a PG mentality. Plus, the Hawks sent them their future first-round picks. I'll repeat that, if you're a little bit slow-minded: THE HAWKS sent them THEIR FIRST ROUND PICKS.

He just about covered it, I'll just add a few things.
1 - It wasn't that they traded Deng, they traded the pick. But due to trading restrictions they had to make the draft choice. So Chicago basically told them they wanted Deng then Phoenix drafted him and made the trade.
2 - Trading Richardson was a good move. He was way to inconsistent and would still take 18 shots no matter if he made 14 or if he made 3. I wouldn't mind if they kept Nate, but he was probably the most overrated player in the draft. He's an undersized shooting guard and can't play the offence taht Phoenix does. And Kurt Thomas has been playing great this year.

Well if you just pick the moves you don't like, you can make any team look bad including the Spurs.
Let's remember they also unloaded two gigantic contracts of Marbury and Penny to NYK and got draft picks out of it, and then signed Steve Nash right out from under Dallas.
As for Q-Rich - Kurt Thomas trade....

I think Suns did exceptionally well.
They beefed up their D with Thomas, and they got Diaw who always looked like was gonna be a good player for much less than JJ. Not to mention the draft picks, which will be top 10 for sure (are they lottery or #1 protected?). If not, then look out next season....a good draft pick + healthy Amare = bye bye Spurs

The Suns will receive Atlanta's own first round pick no later than the 2008 NBA Draft. That pick which is "lottery" protected (1-14) in 2006, has protection through No. 3 in 2007 and has no protection in 2008. In addition the Suns will also receive a conditional first round pick via either the Los Angeles Lakers or Boston Celtics from an earlier trade between Boston and Atlanta. The Laker pick which is subject to protection through No. 10 in 2006, protection through No. 5 in draft years 2007-2010 and unconditional in 2011, is owed to Boston from yet another previous trade. In the year that the Laker pick is conveyed to Boston, Phoenix will receive the least favorable of Boston's own pick or the Laker pick.

probably best for Suns to forfeit the pick in 08 since, one would assume they should be picking 10+.
