is a tad bit much.
those were poster worthy dunks, all in one game.
its just common sense, centers all get posterized
more you challenge more you gonna get blocked
plain and simple
but there are reasons when players just brush aside or just don't challenge the dunk.
VC coming at you a mile away is one of those times
i'm 5'8 and can dunk
(tell me how to post a picture and i'll post it)
i DO play basketball. (not as often as i sprint or kickbox, but yeah)
so when you say none of the people here ball, or know about basketball, i'm assuming already you don't know most of us as well as you think.
and yeah, i do block shots cause i can jump.
but only in scrimmages or playground games
and trust me, i do not get dunked on even then as much as 4 times a game.
playing with my state team, i don't even try it coz most of those guys are 6' 8, 6'9
and can dunk windmill's
even then in games or practice our center doesn't get dunked on 4 times like that
Comparing your games to those of the NBA is just plain stupid... There ain't no one like Carter or Jefferson playing with you... They'd be playing the NBA if they were as good ar half as athletic as the Net duo is.
Another guess is that you are a youg guy... Like 15-20 year old or something. Those guys rarely have the balls to go for the dunks that Carter and Jefferson try...
One more question... How many crowd dunks are there in your practises? If someone can't put one down from a stand still position, I'm guessing none... At least if you play defense at all. Sure if you are on the open court or on a fast break, the dunking is easy.
I'm pretty sure that your team mates would get blocked by Zo so many times they wouldn't be trying the stuff Carter and Jefferson pulled on him...
Zo's got that defensive game going...
Ranks #1 in the NBA in Blocks Per Game(3.75)
Ranks #1 in the NBA in Blocks(30.0)
This is todays situation... Don't put him down before he's out...
Hmmm, i feel your point.
but hey, the guys on my team are pretty athletic
but i don't really know how its like compared to the nba, i can't say i have played with Vince, rj or them guys. can't really tell just by looking at the game tape
but yeah, maybe they aren't near those guys, but they are still pretty good
we have one guy who is a 'crowd dunker' he is the center. 6'10 or sumthing, can't really jump if you look at him.
and yeah, you are right, i do mostly dunk on the fastbreak.
i do dunk on guys, but its during pickup games where the tallest guys are about 6'2 maybe. i think i can understand what you are saying,
but not to take anything away from me, i don't want to risk my life just to prove a point to guys i don't really care about
i have landed wrong a couple of times, and trust me, its a scary experience
i know zo would block the shit outta me. i'm 5'8 for gods sake
i can jump, but even that is really pushing it.
but i can't say for my teammates, they might maybe cram one or two over him
this guy from africa, last name deng, he can straight out dunk. he is about 6'9, but he can really jump
he can do a between the legs dunk, and thats saying something
yeah zo is really good. but i think camby is better
till next time brudder
