Brand led the team again with 23 points and 7 rebounds and I was pretty suprised to see Sam Cassel finish with nearly a triple double with 21/8/9 too.

Maggette continued to kick ass off the bench with 17 points in 25 minutes, including a dunk that pretty much sealed the game.

Sam C had 3 steals to go with his near triple double and our shooting was much better tonight. Zaza Pachulia was pretty impressive for the Hawklings and well Joe Johnson was left having to do everything, it was pretty obvious we would win the game from the tip off. :proud:

This could be the year we finally return to the playoffs.

Next up Philly, we should take the W there to and to come out with a loss against that team would be a disgrace. Im waiting for friday night, Ill be there when Brand murders them Laker posers. It'll be Sam C's birthday too, hopefully he'll put on a show.

You guys will probably make the playoffs but I think you are getting ahead of yourselves. 50 wins?

You should direct that at frenchy, cause in no way do I agree to frency's predicted season record. I think we'll be 6th to 8th seed at best with around 45 wins, we still have alot more gaps to fill before we become a legit 50 wins team. We still have to play the better teams and the losses will start pilling up sooner or later.

Dont the Nets want Ely?

Even if they do I highly doubt Elgin will trade him to the Nets considering that we wont get any thing worthy back except Nenad Kristic who is levels below Big Will in ability and talent.

Chris Wilcox.

Lost to Philly tonight, Sam's shooting was what made us lose the game.

What about 20 turnovers?

I feel Brand needs to take 25 shots a night for us to win 45games.

Yeah there were the turnovers but we only lost by 5 points and Sam went 1-10 from the field, turnovers as a team but individually Sam's the key fault.

He's experienced enough to know when he's having a cold night, at least he had 12 assists though oh well just got to move on now and hope we can beat the Bucks though it'll be a much tougher game, probably the toughest game we've had so far.

I know Maggette is back into the lineup and everything, but why hasn't Singleton gotten any playing time?

Have you even seen him play? He'll probably be an all-star in couple of years.

Cassell's shooting has been quite bad this season, I'm not sure what's wrong. Last game the defense was pretty bad. Obviously we can't expect Cassell to stop people defensively, especiall a guy like AI, but overall their were a lot of defensive mishaps.

Ive seen him play and hes just another euro big man, SOFT and aimless on defense. His rebounding is extremely weak for a guy standing 7 feet and he's not a great passer either. I doubt he'll ever be an all-star or even a Top 10 at his position.

A bit off topic yet somewhat related, Im wondering who here thinks D-Mile can keep up his new found offensive game and numbers for the rest of the season. He is playing on a team where he is the "second star" but I think he seems to have improved his game on a whole and is showing signs of what he is really capable of and has matured as a player. If he keeps it up he is definitely a favourite for most improved player, but lets see what happens...no matter what I wish him the best cause I still have a soft spot for Darius and want him to have plenty of success in the league.

Simple answer. No. He's averaging around 4 turnovers a game, so you can tell that he's just forcing his offence.
But I think he has improved tremendously and I'm still rooting for the guy. young, tall, lanky and athletic players are always my favourite players.

i don't think he's a 20pt scorer, i think around 16ppg is more realisitc. if could hit his ft's though...

6-2 :D

Sam shot 9-12 and erased his poor shooting run so far hopefully the trend continues. Im not sure why Corey is still coming off the bench, but heck he's putting up good numbers. Elton had a double double but had 6 turnovers which is something I hope he doesnt let happen again.

James Singleton finally got some minutes but got 3 fouls during those 6 minutes. :?

Now comes the big game, my Dad paid good money for the tickets so I hope we put on a show against the Lakers.

YEAH BABY YEAH!

Feels good to be at the game to see the Lakers beat, watching it on TV was great but putting into context of us starting off great and the return of Phil Jackson to there squad this win felt grrrrrrrrrrrreat.

Elton was a beast, he was getting one heck of a ovation when he was leaving to the lockers and my sister had to give me 50 bucks cause we had a bet on who will win and she was on the whole week running her mouth about how Kobe will own all. Chino Moreno and Chi Cheng of the Deftones were a couple of seats to the left of us and to the right us were the whole of Incubus, so we had some good seats...I was so happy we werent surrounded by Paris Hilton and Ashton Kutcher types. :)

My dad went and spoke to Spike Lee and Jim Brown which was cool, I kind of just shook hands and went back to my seat. I guess Spike's just got sick of the Knicks...now that shows what level the Knicks are on right now.

All in all a great game and a great night...just cant be bothered going into greater detail, now lets hope we can get W no.8 on Sunday.

Nice win today. Baron started off real well with his passing, but with that hamstring, he's been off, and he was contained today as he only shot 33%. J-Rich also went 7-21 from the field, and Brand had a huge game with 32 points and 11 rebounds.

The Clippers are on a roll..7-2 right now i believe? That backcourt of Cassell and Mobley's really working well for the Clips. Brand was a monster today, 32 and 11.

8-2 after the win against Golden State. Couldn't watch the game cause I had work and it was a really busy day.

Now comes our toughest game of the season, the Toronto Raptors.

I hope we dont lose, got a bit too cocky against the 76ers and we ended up lossing...but oh well the Raptors are a different story altogether.
