Larry Brown claims he doesn't have a clue about this Knicks roster

Lol well that's encouraging. Have fun Knick fans!

New York has a very talented team, but with the exception of marbury, they dont really listen to the coach. I'm a big crawford fan, but somtimes you have to set an example to get through to the players.

With that said, I have no idea why Penny is on the IR list behind Nate Robinson. Penny can still play.

the knicks need to make up their mind on which position/role they want crawford playing

imo he's better suited being a PG- he could use his height advantage at that spot and defensively he could use his height and length to help him stay in front of quicker pg's. crawford was amongst the best in Assists per game for SG's...

he loses those advantages when you put him at SG. opposing SG's can overpower him and it's harder for him to shoot over them

at least he's saying the right things even though he's just been benched. yet the writer of that article trashes him anyway. go figure the nyk media

Bring him to Toronto !

They can really use him as a Starting SG.

it's good to see that the Robinson, the rookie, is getting some playing time let along under Larry Brown. Nate is gonna be a good player. As for Crawford, it's too bad he's not fitting in, but he's talented and if all fails, he can be traded but he's still gonna be a good player.

The rookies should be getting more time. Also, Trevor Ariza.

LB's playing the wrong guys.

oh hell no. we'll just have a junior version of jalen rose if not worse. the guy's a fucking trigger happy maniac and toronto does not need another idiot who hoists up three's with reckless abandon

I've been wondering about LB's player rotation... I think the coach should try to adjust too... He does not have Wallaces to defend the center any more or Prince to guard the perimeter so you have to adjust.

Larry Brown is a great defensive coach, but right now, he does not have even a decent defensive team... So you have to meet half way... The players need to start paying attention to what LB is saying and LB needs to adjust his approach to the players he has available... Two absolute opposites is never a good thing...

One thing that is so great about basket ball is that if you can't defend you can always cover that up with a really high octane offense... The knicks have the weapons to be really effective offensively... But the guards are the critical pieces here... They handle the ball and they have to meet LB's methods half way to make this thing work.

Who thought Larry Brown and the Knicks would get off to a great start??? If you did, you know nothing about nothing...

To sum it up... This is a two way street... You can meet safely in the middle, but if you stick to a lane, you will get run over sooner or later...

3 games (easy ones at that) and everyone's frustrated....that was quicker than i thought.

The knicks have had 3 different coaches with JC there, so naturally theres going be different roles thrown at him with the different systems.
imo he's better suited being a PG- he could use his height advantage at that spot and defensively he could use his height and length to help him stay in front of quicker pg's. crawford was amongst the best in Assists per game for SG's...

Then Marbury will be alongside him at sg, and im assusming in most cases, the other teams pg will be guarding marbury, and that will leave the opposing 2 guard guarding crawford regardless of how JC plays on the offensive end.
Nate is gonna be a good player.

Nate will never be the same player Crawford is on the offensive end.
The rookies should be getting more time. Also, Trevor Ariza.

Trevor Ariza, Nate Robinson and David Lee arent the knicks saviours. Marbury, Richardson and Curry are the best players on the knicks, and it would be stupid to not play them to "give the young players a go".
oh hell no. we'll just have a junior version of jalen rose if not worse. the guy's a fucking trigger happy maniac and toronto does not need another idiot who hoists up three's with reckless abandon

Hehe, I thought you're from vancover?

Larry Brown almost never gets off to fast starts. Even in detroit they struggled until they got rasheed. But remember larry brown turns around nearly every team in time. I have confidence in him becuase of his history and im not going to throw in the towel after 3 games.

I too am a fan of Crawford. He's a big 6'5 combo guard that can light it up and he's fairly athletic with very good potential to be a good defender. His shot selection is terrible to say the least though; I would make sure that he'll be a little more careful when picking his shots first before the Raptors even try to get him.

they should just trade him if that's the case IMO. either that or trade marbury. larry brown is known as a teacher, if crawford sticks around and is being used as a PG, then who knows, maybe crawford turns out to be a solid player.

it did take larry hughes some time to get where he is now as a player...
