up next for my officially amatuerly done team previews is:
Galvatron3000
Image
draft team
should i even bother listing this since this team has completely changed since then ? He drafted 10th:
Duncan
Gordon
Josh Howard
Boozer
Caron Butler
Eddie Jones
Diogu
Fisher
Gadzuric
Bowen
Greg Buckner
Raja Bell
Kapono

MOVES:
trades Boozer for McDyess
trades Eddie Jones & Josh Howard for TJ Ford & Ronald Murray
adds: Jamal Mashburn, Maurice Evans, A Storey, Claxton, Corliss Williamson, Atkins, Jarret Jack, Devean George, Van Exel, Najera, Singleton, Diaw, Ostertag,
drops: Bruce Bowen, Kapono, Buckner, fisher, Storey, Williamson, Mashburn, Jack, Bell, Atkins, Evans, Murray, Diogu

CURRENT TEAM (as of 11/7) ;)
PG: Van Exel
SG: Ben Gordon
G: TJ Ford
SF: Diaw
PF: Najera
F: Devean George
C: Tim Duncan
C: Ogretag
util: Claxton
util: Singleton
BN: Caron Butler
BN: McDyess
BN: Gadzuric

STRENGTHS: FT%, FTM, Rebounding, Steals, Assists
WEAKNESSES: FG%, 3PTM, Blocks, TO

Best Pick: Tim Duncan- The Big fundamental is probably one of the most consistent players in fantasy b-ball. Although he has averaged about 68 games in the past 2 years, he is definitley worth the 10th pick. Over at espn, the average spot he's being picked is 5th
Worst Pick: Ben Gordon- A lot of fantasy geeks, including this one, pegged "4th Quarter" Gordon having a breakout year. But nabbing him @31 is quite a reach, even for his Bulls homer. Last nite's 23pt 6reb 4ast 3 3ptm performance may be a sign of things to come though

Unnecessary commentary: Tracking down all of Galvatron's was a pain! But kudos to him as being one of the most active GM's in the league. He leads the league in transcations with 13 (already!). While some of those players he picked up may be "flavor of the month" types, you guys were probably after them too, he just got to them before the rest of us could. Though this strategy may backfire if he doesn't know when to exercise some patience with certain players

And is there a method to this madness? With all these add/drops, is Galvatron just picking up whoever to just have someone playing? So far so good- he unofficially won 8-5 this week.

Galvatron dropped Fisher. With Baron Davis sidelined, Fisher has been giving my team decent stats. :D

Looking forward to this week Air Gordon, also I'm looking to nab multiple position players, mostly in the Forwards and center spots.

 you dropped him already. I was looking at Arroyo but settled for McCleod instead, since he's starting and all.

I'm beating Jugs 12-0 after day 1. He had Livingston and Varajeo (both injured) in his Util spots.

Tomorrow it's Lorenzen Wright, Andris Bierdins, Vlad Radmanovic vs Kobe, Odom, Smush and Bobby Jackson.

man i sure know how to pick them.

arroyo's line tonite:
1pt
0-4fg
1-2ft
2 assists
4 fouls
1 steal
3 TO"s

better then humphries line but that's not saying much. arroyo back in the fA pool

SO WHAT'S GOING ON, GALVATRON? WE HAVE A BET OR WHAT? i'm talking the offer off the table after tomorrow if you don't respond

when I make trade offers I usually look at both my needs and the person's need I'm offering a trade too. If you will look closely at my offers and your specific needs be it stats, position or both you will probably atleast consider the deal even if you turn it down. Look at my track record and observe my team week by week. I make decent offers and get good production despite my lineup choices. Anyway, this was a powerful week for my team and I doubt seriously anyone has actually figured out my stragedy, it's more than what's on the surface.

its not rocket science. you're getting in as many games in for the week as you can, a common practice in daily lineup formats

and since there isn't a limit on the amount of add/drops or a fee for add/drops (like in a lot of custom/money leagues do to "check" this type of strategy), you're free to continue doing it
