Well Shaq was going up for the layup. And then he snatched it but when he was gonna go down to the ground he stepped on Ron Artest Foot. They said he sprainned his ankle. I think he will be s good month

"Miami also lost Shaq to an ankle sprain. The x-rays were negative and he is day to day."

Shaq sits out from the slightest bit of injury so he could be out for a while.

Shaq sprains ankle during Miami's loss to Indiana

ImageMIAMI -- Shaquille O'Neal sprained his right ankle in the fourth quarter of the Miami Heat's 105-102 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.

O'Neal landed awkwardly while jostling for a rebound. X-rays were negative.

"He's probably going to miss some time, the way he was walking on it in there," Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said.

O'Neal came down on Ron Artest's foot. He remained down for a few seconds, then limped off the court and into the locker room. He finished with 18 points and six rebounds.

How come I didn't get an ESPN article, or even a thread, when I tweaked my ankle on Tuseday. I was out for 2 days.

I ain't get no respect.

Shaq will be fine.

Shaq looks like a child crying because he slipped.

Is that Artest's hands? He's helping Shaq, good for him.

Well looks like that "i'm gonna gain 30 lbs" strategy really worked out well for him.

What opponent did Shaq have in mind when he decided to add weight? Andre the Giant? Shaq already outweighs every center by a large margin other than Curry.

He should lose weight and work on his flexibility/agility, his strength is already off the scales.

The heat will, nothing that big. I dont think he broke or twisted anything. Plus hes getting old so he will be getting injured more...

as shaq is getting older, he is getting injuried more. Soon his 100mill contract will look like a joke when he only plays 30 games per season.
Maybe the lakers were thinking about this..
