mo evans is impressing me.. i knew he was athletic especially when i saw him play in sacramento.. i thought he was primarily a slasher but i didnt know he could shoot the 3. impressive.

i doubt in most games our (usual) starters will play a combined total of 40minutes :P

No. That was LB's philosphy Flip wants more of a Hubie Brown 10man Rotation. So, Mo Town For MIP!

Oh and Tay couldnt play 40mins a night for 80 games either.

Sun Oct 30, 2005 4:12 pm

i think Flip said he wants 8 guys playing 30mpg (arroyo, dice, evans) and a 9th and/or 10th getting time too.

I like that idea.

Sun Oct 30, 2005 6:19 pm

Arroyo playing 30 minutes is a terrible idea. I don't trust that fucker. I want Darko!

Sun Oct 30, 2005 6:54 pm

lol, well for regular season i don't mind, either way Pistons will make the playoffs. Come playoffs, Arroyo 12 mins MAX.

Sun Oct 30, 2005 8:55 pm

i really want flip to try out this lineup for once, just to see how big the matchup problems can be

c - ben wallace
f - rasheed
f - darko
g - prince
g - hamilton

offense might be a problem here but i'm pretty sure people are going to have a hard time driving to the hole or getting a decent shot off for that matter

Sun Oct 30, 2005 9:54 pm

Stick Prince @PG instead of Hamilton and i'm with ya on that. With that, offense shouldn't be a problem.

did you even read what i wrote?
our usual startes played a combined total of under 40 minutes!!!

ben wallace and chauncey didnt play, rip played 10min, prince played 13min and sheed played 12min

i highly doubt thats happening again! (unless we have clinched playoff or #1 spot =p)

i dont think offence is a problem, the only guy missing is billups. itd be interesting putting darko at sf... he would probly be a bit too slow though.

Mon Oct 31, 2005 9:22 am

actually darko's lateral quickness is decent. he's even faster than carmelo anthony in that department.

Mon Oct 31, 2005 3:42 pm

based on?

Jesus, you really did miss my point completely. All those hair products affecting your brain?

Tue Nov 01, 2005 5:54 am

lol thanks. why is carmelo anthony the comparison? is he some atheltic freak?

i'll give credit to darko having "decent" lateral quickenss for his size.

Tue Nov 01, 2005 10:23 am

probably because his stock was so high during the pre-draft camp. the man was the MVP of the NCAA final tourney and he should've arguably gone at #2. just my 2 cents anyways

Tue Nov 01, 2005 12:32 pm

lmao that's why? :shake:

Tue Nov 01, 2005 12:37 pm

whats so funny?

Tue Nov 01, 2005 12:47 pm

it would make sense to use carmelo anthony as a comparison because he scored well in the lateral quickness/lane agility test, not because his stock was high

Tue Nov 01, 2005 1:04 pm

Fri Nov 04, 2005 9:14 pm

nothing spectacular from Darko. Played 9 mins...scored 2 points, 2 rebs...i think he blocked a shot and i know he poked the ball out of Webber's hands. Good to see him enter in the 1st quarter.

because melo is a SF - and does a good job at it. i dont really know darkos speed - except for his rating in nba live  because im still yet to see a pistons game where he plays (dam aus tv)

he didnt have a great game vs philly - but it was average.

Sat Nov 05, 2005 5:14 pm

he hasnt had much time - but he has been filling the stat sheet.

2 points, steal, assist, rbd, block in each of the four minutes or so he has played. not bad stats (Y)

Sat Nov 05, 2005 6:54 pm

the important thing is that these minutes are when the game still counts.

are you referring to lateral quickness or anthony does a good job being a SF?
