Weird, there's no mention of Penny playing at the point.

When i read the title, i thought he bought a gun or something...

. "Steph will be like, 'I'm used to doing it my way.' And Larry will be like, 'I'm used to doing it my way and my way has won.'

sounds like one of those 13 yr old drama queens..

Interesting read.. this will be interesting to watch, Starbury and Larry brown

Malfa, you need to be banned. And fast.

Interesting read, I hope for Knicks fans all across the globe Stephon & Brown can come to an agreement or whatever it was that Brown & Iverson had.

The problem here is that Iverson is though as nails and a proven winner. Marbury is neither. I think it's easier for a coach to be tolerant towards a player that leaves so much on the court. Besides, Iverson is a quite humble individual when compared to Marbury... :)
On the other hand: who was chauncey billups before Brown's coaching?

Agreed. Marbury better look at the facts - Iverson and Billups had career seasons under Brown. We all know Larry's a prima donna too, but he can coach. If Steph is willing to listen(and develops a thick skin), he'll be a better player.

I think it's fair to say that Billups blossomed under Carlisle, even if he took it to another level under Brown. He had a lot to prove, and never had a roster place for granted, unlike Marbs or Iverson.

The Pistons team Brown inherited was very much of his liking, though, as was the 76ers team he had, with a lot of tough role players and a tough competitor (as wild as he could be) in Iverson.

I'm just not sure Brown will have the time or patience to take care of Marbs game as he has to domesticate a crowd of reckless ball players in Crawford, Richardson and Marbury. When they start jacking up 3's in transition I think he will have an heart attack... Then add Curry to the mix, a 300 pound cream puff... whoa. This is definitely not his kind of team... Maybe the knicks should have tried to nab Antoine Walker! And maybe Jermaine Jackson for the 6th man spot :D The all time bad shot team! Yes, I can foresee heart surgery in the future, and it won't be for Curry...

Yeah, he has to teach this whole team how to play real basketball - he's literally starting from scratch. IMO, I don't see it happening and Brown will bail out in two years.

If I'm wrong, and these cats start rebounding and playing the defense hardcore Knicks fans love, they'll build Larry a shrine in front of the Garden.

So how about that Penny?

The article primarily discusses Marbury at point guard, and it's already been said that Penny will play at the point. The article fails to mention anything about Steph's feeling at playing shooting guard, and whether or not this will work out with him and Larry Brown.
